Sir Jig-A-Lot wrote: WHAT IF to them growing more balls & suprising the fuck outta general moviegoers & fanboys had they gone with the ruthless, sarcastic & darker incarnation they had in Grey. I think non-comic reading folk woulda been pleasantly shocked & suprised with reactions like "I didn't know Hulk could talk like a mean-streaked foul-mouthed motherfucker!" or "damn,I thought he was only a dimwit who said shit like Hulk Smash" & the darkness & tone of Peter David's Grey Hulk stories would've given TDK a huge run for it's money & dude would've been a badderass threat to any villain or hero the filmmakers threw up against him in that film or the next. Honestly, I'm sick of the Savage Childlike Hulk. That version has no complexity to him & has been done to death. Now, the Grey or Merged/Professor versions are way more interesting & entertaining. I think brother raum & I should go to Hollyweird & put hacks like Zak Penn & David Goyer out of business. What say thee,Raum?. [/rant]
Thing is you forget the kids, These movies are about introducing a new generation to the old school marvel Characters...there is plenty of time to do a grey hulk movie......it's like the Phantom menace, that movies wasnt made for oldschool fans it was made for the kids

Fuck the kids.! They have the cartoons or Spielberg n' Lucas to teach them crap. Remember when one of these damn comic movies comes out, there is always a full length animated toon of the character that comes out just before or after the live-action feature that is usually no relation to it other than it has that character & they are usually kiddied up to the shithouse. Next thing you know, you'll be saying Watchmen should be kiddied up.. :?:

But the Watchmen was never for the kiddies same with wanted or the handfull of other 'Graphic novels' that have been made into movies.....if you make these movies too dark...they are out of reach of the kids, Even TDK gets toned down.
Although I do think the grey Hulk emerging from where banner hit the street at the end of the incredible hulk would have worked.
...and I fully support you heading to Hollywierd with a screen play in hand...maybe you can make a super hero movie about a fob with bionic thongs and a magical bank account that always has $20 dollars in it.......you could use Marley and Tupac for the soundtrack.

Marvel drops Ed Norton -- maybe they don't like him when he's angry [Updated]

Maybe they should pick up Eric Bana I'll bet he'd make a good Hulk.

From reading the full story, It sounds like Norton was game & Kevin Feige was a cheapskate diva.

Yeah I'm really not too high on an Avengers movie anymore. I kinda wishing they'd wait until Cap and Thor can be rebooted with their actual origins and a look that befits them.
