This season, more than any, should be the perfect argument for a Playoff..Its impossible to rank in my opinion...Michigan looses to Appalachian State, all hell breaks loose...Fast forward and they're undefeated in Big 10 play, clowning ranked teams in the mean time...They should scrap the BCS immediately after this season...

Wow, that 10 year contract Notre Dame gave Weiss is worth its weight in gold...They had another transfer...

That makes the 4th soph to do so this year, amidst a team that may have won its only game this year...

Lucky bastard. I wonder what booster is "convincing" these guys to come play for them.

On another note, I can't believe Michigan is back in the top 25. They lost to Appalachian State and Oregon. Yea, Oregon is ranked number 7 in the nation, but they got absolutely slaughtered. They shouldn't be back in there.

And why didn't Oregon State get any votes after knocking off the #2 team in the nation? That's just messed up

Michigan finally regrouped, and they now look like a good team...The Appalachian State game could have gone either way, they lost, but I didn't think they played horrible as much as I did Appalachian State played good...Remember, that team had won like 24 games in a row or something, 2 time I-AA champs; the guys weren't slouches...What we saw was how close the gap is between a top tier programs in the divisions...The problems is that Michigan was in the top 5 when the season started, and expected to contend...Had they been #22 when the season started, it wouldn't have been so bad I don't think...And Oregon is just a good team...

For all intents and purposes, Michigan is probably the second best team in the Big 10, and they humbled both Penn State and Purdue...That ranking is probably a little generous, I think they are looking ahead a bit, but its possible that they could be headed to the Rose Bowl...

Geez this season has got to be one of the craziest of my lifetime (19 years) and probably some of the most frequent upsets I've ever seen. Granted I knew my USC wasn't nearly as strong as everyone predicted, I still feel we got a shot at a good bowl game, especially if we can run the table against Cal and Arizona State.

South Florida loses and that's three weeks in a row that the Cursed #2 has lost! Is Boston College strong enough to withstand the spotlight and pressure?

BC is as good as dead, lol...Meanwhile, i think JDB has lost his job...As a coach, there is no way that I bench Sanchez, who is likely to start next year, when he's playing well...He didn't look so good his first start, but looked much better this past weekend...Although it it was against Notre Dame, a quality win is a quality win...If Sanchez struggles his next outing, maybe...But JDB was never that impressive IMO, and on top of that Sanchez seems more mobile...Joe McKnight is looking better too...I still believe USC has more talent all across the board, I'd love to see them and LSU get back to the top of the heap...

Go Horns... :D

I don't care if JDB or Sanchez starts, either way I just want a win versus Oregon to regain credibility first of all, and second to reestablish ourselves in the National Title Picture again.

Oregon has a better team than most people think. I hate that USC is the only Pac-10 team that really gets attention. Dennis Dixon is a top 5 Heisman candidate and Jonathan Stewart will be a first round draft pick. Their defense is stifling and they will beat USC tomorrow
