as long as they don't hand it over to Sheryl Crow again. my ears bled when i heard the shit she did for Tomorrow Never Dies. KD Lang's epic very Bondesque Surrender got shat on by being slapped on the end credits of that. should've been the other way around. seriously which one would you prefer opening a 007 flick?
This
or
That

It looks like Bond gets as down & dirty (mayhap dirtier) in this new installment as he did in the bangin' Casino Royale. I'm In! Even though it still has that absurd title (I say go back to using 007).[center]Thanks To IESB for the pix

I'm at the point with Bond films I can wait until there on tv to see them, or not. I always thought they should have picked a time period when these movies took place (like the 1960's) and stuck with it. I understand they want to use the latest helicopters, and sports cars, and speed boats, and automatic weapons, and have Bond fight topical villains, all to impress the kiddies, but I think a little continuity would have made this series much better. As such, I can't really call myself a fan.... more intrigued with what could have been than what has been. :(

B-Brigade,

The idea they are going for is that James Bond is a institution larger than one man. MI-5's special Agent is James Bond, but many people through many times have fulfilled that role.

It is not the story of a man named James Bond,.. it is the story of Project: "James Bond."

But I agree, I am not really interested in the James Bond movies. In my opinion, they are repetitive to the point where there is a formula that each one follows. Some people may enjoy that. I just don't bother anymore.

I'd have to say Casino Royale was a kick in the balls for the Bond series in that it was not worthy of being called a Bond film. Hopefully this next one can redeem the situation.

Hahaha I know you did but I recall getting out of the theatre thinking how much that sucked as a Bond film. So much so I haven't bothered to watch it again.

I haven't seen every Bond film. Missed a few of the Roger Moore flicks. Moore was never my favorite Bond. George Lazenby doesn't even register and blip on the radar. I heard Casino Royale is a bit more violent than the other Bond films, but I'm in no rush to see it.
