I do think LeBron James is over hyped. You know, that high shooting percentage that he has is attributed to the fact that most of his points come from him finishing under the rim (dunks and layups), as opposed to shooting.
Dunks and layups are higher percentage method of scoring than shooting. Forget the percentages, Kobe never played them. He is a career 45% field goal percentage, and 34% from 3-point range. BUT...when you factor in the degree of difficulty of the shots that Kobe makes, we might as well call him the best shooter in the NBA. This guy makes shots that most players probably do not dream of taking man -- fade away 3's, 3's with hand in his face, pull-up jumpers on double teams, etc.
LeBron James plays very physical, and that is what he is living on -- the 250 pounds (NOT 260 guys, please) and his athleticism. But let me tell you something guys, he has yet to learn some 'finesse' like Kobe, D-Wade, Carmelo, etc. And the fact is that physical players generally do wear out quicker than finesse players do. That so called athleticism will eventually go, and he won't have anything to show when is starts hitting 30 years old.

The fact that he has a high shooting percentage because he is able to get to the rim and finish should be a credit, not a knock on his game.
If everyone could get to the rim at will and only shoot layups and dunks, you better believe that's exactly what they would be doing.
Kobe is a special case as it seems like he enjoys taking and making tough shots, but you can never knock someone for shooting a high percentage lol.
As far as physical players wearing out quicker...that may be the case some of the times...but look at Shaq, that dude is still going strong...and I think D-Wade will wear out much quicker than LeBron just because the man kills himself every night to get wins....whereas LeBron is sitting out a lot of 4th quarters..

Him shooting high percentage due to the dunks and layups should be a credit, yes true -- but what I am saying is that that will be a feature that will not always be around -- believe that. And the reason why I am knocking him is because of the high percentage will drop when he is 30 and not as athletic anymore. Say what you want, but LeBron is far from a good shooter. He is just average.
And as for physical players wearing out quicker...that is the case MOST of the time. LoL did you just mention Shaq? WoW, yes he is going strong but when was the last time the man played up to 80 games? OK, you remember that Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was still playing at 37 years old right? Well, you cannot compare his productivity with Shaq's now, it's far from close. Kareem had finesse also to his game.
Look at Ben Wallace, Rasheed Wallace, same case. Their productivity declined steeply after they were not able to play as physical anymore due to age. I will bet you that someone like Pau Gasol will be playing so well at 35 years old due to his finesse.
And, you said everyone would do aggressive dunks and layups if they can, but I disagree. It is good as a player to keep your legs and body fresh by avoiding those type of things when you were younger. Again, eventually, the athleticism will definitely go. But the skill and finesse will most likely be there.

Sir, as you rightly pointed out (I bet some people may say I'm dickriding you now lol), "they were the same damn fucking dunk!"
Well, the only difference between two of them is the color of the jersey he is wearing.

lmfao at that countdown.
First off, of the two James dunks...neither of the big men even fucking jumped.... how can those even be on the list? Both were playing proper help D...and he just dunked the ball....that's an ordinary play that looks better because LeBron is such a freakish athlete, but by no means should either of them be on the countdown.
A lot of the other ones were pretty solid, but of course there were some omissions.

Definitely some omissions, lmfao, and LeBron had 2 spots on mofos that needed them...Shit man, we could have easily filled in LeBron's two dunks with some more VC highlights...VC by FAR has the most sick arsenal of bangers...Jumpin' over dude's head in a game..!?!?!?
Again, not saying LeBron isn't good man...But damn, its time for some breaks to get pumped...
