You are borderline disillusion with this woman-hating shit you got going on....

You aren't pro-feminist are you? I don't hate women at all. It's just knowledge of the opposite sex. What, women can say that men are pigs (true statement) but we can't say that they don't have common sense?Drew wrote:You are borderline disillusion with this woman-hating shit you got going on....
Back in the 1960s a man could say that and all men would laugh and agree. Today men are scared to say such things. Women have the power of lawsuits and media to hype up bullshit.Über wrote:CDR...
Damn J, even if I think that...I don't think I would ever say it, haha...
No, not at all. I never said that. I absolutely love women. I just consider myself an educated man about the opposite sex and don't believe in any of the bullfuck that modern society likes to brainwash men into thinking: marriage, relationships, living together, sharing bank accounts, listening to them talk, etc.Habib wrote:jdog just really hates women huh? :)i I would love to meet you someday and have a 10 minute conversation hehe.

Sounds like just the sort of thing a misogynist would say. In my view, a misogynist is by definition not the sort of person to ask for a level-headed, balanced assessment of women."How do you write women so well?"
"I think of a man, and I take away reason and accountability."

Believe it or not...you can be with a woman and NOT marry them. Yes, this is a true story. They typically move on though till they find the sucker that "puts a ring on it".darklighter1 wrote:Ah yes the man who loved women too much...grab him fast ladies he's a keeper.
Did I say that women suck? I don't recall typing that out. :?Dietrich wrote::think: Hmmmmm... Let me see if I've got this straight... Oh! I think I get it now!
I don't think women suck (to put it bluntly), [sarcasm] so I must be a brainwashed, weak-minded idiot! [/sarcasm] :laff:
In my view, "women lack common sense" is one of those things that may be true in countless individual cases, one of those things for which a seeming superabundance of evidence can be found, but it's effectively all anecdotal evidence. Likewise, I've seen countless instances of men being pigs, but I've also seen countless instances of men not being pigs.

Actually, Dietrich could have used some accuracy.Habib wrote:You couldn't have said it any better Dietrich.

I did not misquote you because I did not quote you. I omitted "all" as well "most"/"many"/etc. because I meant the phrase as more of a general hypothesis than it would be with any of those qualifiers.jdog wrote:Oh, poor quoting on your part too. I didn't say that ALL women lack common sense. I said that MOST women lack common sense.
I do understand the difference between the two, actually. I've been fascinated by words and language all my life, and I've been studying etymology since I was a kid. A misogynist hates or is contemptuous of women; a misogamist hates or opposes marriage. You are correct that the latter word more accurately describes the more prominent thread of your comments.jdog wrote:You also got the wrong word. I'm not a misogynist. I am a misogamist. I can see how you completely don't understand the difference between the two though.
