Many people have faith in religious book, many people believe in because they have never known anything else and were baiscally conformed into believing those particular books and would not be able to look at think differently. However religious books provide more of a moral guide on what is right and wrong, as such there is no power held within them but in the person who reads them and to what extent one would use those ideals in their lives .....

I ll do more later on this but right now i got to get to my lecture :shake2:

deepak,

that "energy" you talk about is everywhere, even that book you discount.

Plain and simple until you understand the philosophical truth of "Infinite Light" as the Prime Manifestation of God, you are no better than a hypocrite to stamp on the bible blame a parent or speak a word of its contents.

the book is meant for study, and you can study ANYTHING,

The Truth is spoken everywhere. We are called through ordeals where we are stirpped of all attachments:

First - Emotional and Material.
Then - Biological
Then A HORROR MUST BE FACED
Then We are stripped on any notion of what we think is sacred.
Finally, we dissassociate even the sexual act of our parents from our existence, and the Will that brought them together.

All that there is is light.

Any reason that a person has sought Truth will be taken from them on the journey back to it.

and that all-permeating truth is a light that the word "light" does no justice to.

well its true isnt it, many people belive what is right and wrong because of what humans have been doing for centuries. We consider right and wrong and give examples from history, and also for the wrong doings, in court cases precidence and basically have you every considered why what you do is right or what makes it right in your view ? Is it because it is your formed opinion or what the society deems to be right?

Have you considered why you feel that such a thing is such?

I know that you can learn Anything but the fact of the matter is we do many things without even thinking of it, we have been conformed in many ways to do many things.

And about the thing about the "Infinite Light ", I do get what you are getting at, but think how many people actually get to realise that and well learn of what is real and the truth......

Basically only 3 % of the people would ever realise what you have just said and im not saying i do but i do understand what you are saying .

Deepak,

That makes more sense, especially after you say this is my albeit limited perception, becuase there is no way, once you have achieved Mastery that you can say "Because of this, then that."

Every thing that you have felt, seen, tasted, all of it was ordained by a being beyond all space and time, and that being was ultimately you. If that become a TRUTH and not just a philosophical pandering, you will understand the nature of the universe much better. The potency of the timeline of humanity is analinear.

Consciousness does not die, it is immortal.

This is so, I swear it upon the sacred Tetrakys.

All that im getting from what you are saying that we carry everything along with our soul, although our lives end and we are no longer alive we still know the difference between right and wrong through our soul fron the beggining of time (not sure if thats what you would call it but it is the eternal engery cannot be created or destroyed).

Im not too sure if that is what you are getting at but if this is so then there is the problem of nurture vs nature issue and if we all know the difference between right and wrong and everything should be then why isnt everything in the world just dandy .... you know why isnt everything just great and no wars no killing and all those other crimes and im sure you are gonna hit back with something along the lines material attachments and we having to re-realise the eternal thruth

Oh yea raum and adiriel about that earlier post regarding the material attachements and so forth, did u know that hinduism provides for a time in a persons life to get rid of all material attachments and all family obligations and leave everything behind and go out all alone in order to discover or realise that eternal truth that you are talking about. This process is known as "Sanyas" however im not sure which age it was suppsed to be at im thinking somewhere after 50 or 75 years and well the scriptures also assumes that man should live up to no less then 100 years. "Sanyas " leads one to learn of the eternal truth and find "Moksha"
