I'm not dissin' you man. I never said you didn't have skills. I also never said my opinion was more valid than yours. You make a good point about Kobe but as far as judging lyrics, rappers make songs for the public, and so the public can have favorites and so forth. When I said Nas is the greatest ever to hold the mic I wasn't dissing on who you view as the greatest, just showing appreciation for Nas cause he's my favorite that's all. I just come on this board to share and view info(especially gostasas) and fuck around with everyone 8)

/ the cock rubbin' fest.

A person who writes lyrics himself has more credibility to judge another writer.

If you can't do it yourself, how can you critize or judge?

There are people that referee boxing matches, and have never put on a pair of gloves...

Not rocket science or required if you know the rules...Bobby Knight did not play professional basketball...One of the greatest coaches ever...There are female referees in the NBA...The list goes on and on...

Experience is not a prerequisite of critique... 8)

If I bought a cd that was totally wack, I think I'd be entitled to say so. I don't have the writing skills you have but I also don't have the analytical skills of Siskel and Ebert, but that doesn't mean if they give a movie thumbs down I have to agree with it. There comes a point where it's only a matter of opinion. Just out of curiosity, who is your favorite rapper?

And Ty you missed my point....referees and coaches aren't critques...the sportcasters are....and, at least my personal favorites, tend to be those who've played before. They know better than anyone else what its like to be in a similar situation, so they can explain all the dynamics of it better than someone who's been sitting on the coach watching the game for a year.

My cousin loves Tech N9ne too. Most great lyricists never get any love from radio. They only play bubble gum garbage.
