No...I'm not in the majors but I can relate. The preson I threw out was as fast if not faster than most MLB players. We also play with the same field dimensions. The 90 mph pitcher I faced got drafted in the 9th round last year by the LA Dodgers. His name is Jordan Pratt if you don't believe him. He's with the Ogden Raptors I think. No...I haven't hit a HR over the Green Monster, but I can relate with the other things.

When hitting a ball and getting on base one time out of 4 or 5 AB's a game...for 65 games in a row is an UNBREAKABLE RECORD.....it goes to show that no one is gonna be hitting 10 home runs in a row...and not that many are going to be blasting balls over the green monster.

Fact of the matter is this.

If you can EXCELL in a sport when you're over 40 years old......it doesnt require anyone to be that great of an athlete.

When hitting the ball 4 out of every 10 times you're up to bat is considered AMAZING......it doesnt require a great athlete to play.

I'm too tired of whooping your ass today, as I just owned you in the L.B. post not only 10 minutes ago....I'll leave you with...

The greatest baseball player to ever play (arguebly) was a short little fat man.

How great of an athelete was he?

All Too Easy...

Again, I call you out, and you resort to this:

When hitting a ball and getting on base one time out of 4 or 5 AB's a game...for 65 games in a row is an UNBREAKABLE RECORD.....it goes to show that no one is gonna be hitting 10 home runs in a row...and not that many are going to be blasting balls over the green monster.

I'm talking about in the homerun derby or something...But anyway...You and trash can talk about how easy baseball is all you want...A-Rod is making 25 million a season...If...Baseball was so damn easy....And you don't have to be a great athlete to play it...Why was Michael Jordan stuggling to hit .200..? Why was Bo Jackson probably a career .240 hitter..?

More amazing stuff:

If you can EXCELL in a sport when you're over 40 years old......it doesnt require anyone to be that great of an athlete.

You mean to tell me...Nolan Ryan isn't an athlete cause he could still throw 90 MPH heat in his 40's..??? Unbelieveable...How hard can YOU throw..?

When hitting the ball 4 out of every 10 times you're up to bat is considered AMAZING......it doesnt require a great athlete to play.

Please play professional baseball, and be great...So you can donate back to the site and thanks us for allowing you to be a great MLB player...

Oh here we go again...all this bullshit ::sighs::

When did I say I could play baseball, but since you think everything is based on my fucking ability, lets put it towards you.

Can you climb a mountain?

Probably not, so that makes mountain climbers GREAT ATHLETES right?!

muhfucka theres TONS of shit I can't do...that doesn't mean that someone who can is a great athlete.

you pick out shit and refute it about points im not even trying to make. A-rod and all baseball players are supremely OVERPAID. I never said baseball was EASY...I said it doesn't require someone to be an incredible, freak of nature, athlete to play.

I even STRESSED the word athlete when reffering to Babe Ruth...a short fat man...he was a HORRIBLE athlete, but he could play baseball.

Great MLB player...and Great Athlete are different things.

and no... Nolan Ryan has a great arm....and is a great pitcher...he's not a great athlete.

I don't agree with that LG. Baseball isn't as physical as let's say football, but you still have to be a great athlete to play. The strain on your body of playing 162 games in almost the same amount of games is insane. You go out there and play every day, only have 3 months off, and play for 15+ seasons, you've gotta be in good shape and a great athlete

Fuck no I can't climb a moutain dumbass, but if mountain climbers called themselves athletes, then the question is simple son...

WHO THE FUCK AM I TO TELL THEM THEY AREN'T WHEN I CAN'T DO THE SHIT THEY DO..?

Your logic is nonexistent, I doubt you could explain it to a single person and they even have an idea of what you're talking about...So, I'll school you again...It's simple...

Athlete - A person who is trained or skilled in exercises, sports, or games requiring physical strength, agility, or stamina...

Make your point or shut the fuck up....Please...

Whoa.....looks like someone completely refuted their point in an earlier thread.....you said it's completely fine to be a critic of something...even if you don't partake in it yourself.....but now you've done a complete 180...just to try and make your point.

Swift move there hypocrit.....Try to string together the same logic between more than 1 of your posts to be taken seriously. k?

That's not the same thing...It's not a critique...A person playing a professional sport is called an athlete...Simple and plain...

You're saying they're not athletes...

Your idea of what you think an athlete is...Doesn't hold ground here...By definition, professional baseball players are athletes..That's it...Clear, cut, and dry, that's the gist...If a professional baseball player fills out an application, and he puts "Professional Athlete" under occupation...That's it...

You can say they aren't great athletes, I guess that's a P.O.V., but to say they aren't athletes at all is beyond...I'm not trying to best you on some who is right or who is wrong type shit, I'm just trying to understand you and your thought process...

You know, like I do, somebody has a tendency to say things, have people react to them, and then after all hell breaks loose, we get the good explanation that we should have gotten in the first place...

When I orginally quoted you....it was because you say "great athletes" I've been trying to stress that I disagree with the "great" part. Baseball players are athletes, I know that, I just think if we're going to start ranking athletes...baseball players aren't top of the list.
