Okay - today was not a good day for me and college football. Let me remove any UM offensive player from Heisman contention.

Anyway, Reggie Bush. Holly shit - how many fantasy points would he have put up today?

Reggie Bush went crazy last night. That was amazing. I was surprised that Fresno State put up such a good fight. They did an amazing job about USC
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

Take Texas out of the equation and they would have to rename it the Little 11. You can't look at Texas Tech's non conference schedule without busting out laughing, Oklahoma got trounced by UCLA, Iowa State barely beat Army and flat out lost to Baylor, and I don't think I even need to bring A&M into the conversation.

Take USC out of the Pac-10 and they'd get murded as well....Oregon is having a fluke year.... UCLA is doing good, but you can't be serious.

You'd take Oregon and UCLA over Okalohoma..Texas A&M or Tech...Colorado.......

I mean seriously........because of Okalahoma's complete collapse as a powerhouse this year....Big 12 may have slipped to 5TH best conferance....thats at LEAST 5th.

ACC...SEC....Big Ten....and (this year) Pac-10....

Big 12 is usually top 3.....just okalhoma and the other texas's are playing like crap......but this is a fluke season for that.....Big 12 has always been better than the Pac 10...and always will be. Big Ten is tough football....and they're usually good....ACC and SEC both have too many big name teams..

What do previous years have to do with anything? All that counts is this year, and as you said, the Big 12 slipped.(I don't ever count the Big East because they should be considered mid-major). 5th best is worst as far as I'm concerned. By the way, yes I'd take UCLA over Oklahoma considering they already smashed them

And when you suited up back in 99........where was the Big 12 in conferances? I am surely gaurnetee not 5th...

regardless of how they're doing this year.....you can't say they're pop-warner football......

This just really got to me, becasue I'm always hearing people talk about NFL teams that are doing badly and saying how they suck and its pathetic to watch them....and all I can think is.....these guys all were STARS on their highschool teams....these guys are the best in the business....by no means is any team in the NFL terrible...there are just better teams out there......on any given sunday isn't any true-er than in the NFL.

People'd like to argue that College Football is more or less closer than the NFL in terms of who can win what games....but that's not true....not every team has a Reggie Bush.....but in the NFL....all teams have Reggie Bush type calibur players....playing almost every position........It's all about turnovers and who wants it more when its 3rd and 2
