and i believe that the gov't in fact has made monopolies illegal, at least the last time i checked. in the late 1800s-early 1900s didnt they split apart all these monopolies on steel, tobacco and what not?
yes, but it is far more regulated than all that.
actually take a business ethics class, or study regulatory commissions.
basically, you have an obligation to support the economy with your business, not just make money.
by definition a controlled substance is a substance which can not enter into the market, due as much to its economic potential being uncontrollable due to its addictive nature.
that is why selling or buying drugs is illegal, it defeats the model of economic stability that defines our govt's ability to make congressional decisions to ensure economic soveriegnty.. owning drugs is a separate crime, and not near as severe.
