furthermore,

being that you cats are so old school.

Here is an unreleased track by SBI (Surrounded by idiots), a band featuring Pharell, Chad, Pete (Timbaland), and Magoo.

http://brucewang.com/adoru/sbi-vulnerable.mp3

Listed to how fresh it is, how timeless the arpeggio and how smoove. and how completely perfect for dancing, f*cking, or lounging. It was produced in 1994.

Don't assume because he's new to you, he's new to the game.

Hmm, there's nothing really impressive about that track, it's just shit like his other productions. Pharell's cat voice makes the track even more annoying to the ears. All that you ahve said, yeah even if Dr. Dre's rhymes were slow and clumsy, at least he won awards for his music. Well, in Pharell's case, he couldn't even rap for jack shit..!!!Pharell has no grammy since his entire career, how sad is that..?
Even if you call up Pharell today and ask him who's better among him and Dre, he'll blast your first, then tell you that Dr. Dre will school him...Tell me, what does that bastard even do on the mic..? He's useless, nobody even buys his shit, anyone whom Dr. Dre produces for, goes multi platinum always, any hit Dre produces, hits #1 at the charts, what about Pharell..? NO..!!!
Once again, he can't do a quarter of what Dre's doing...

Yeah and about the question, YES, Dre can say that, and even add a "FUCK YOU" and "ILL SCHOOL LIL' BOY PHARELL" to it...

You're just talking out of your ass now dude, sit down somewhere...Dude is platinum...WFT are you talking about..? I can guarantee, if I sat her to make a list of accolades, to compare the two, Dre wouldn't come close...

Um...What did Dre win a Grammy for..?

ok, you clearly don't watch the Grammy's..

Pharell won TWO AWARDS out of SIX NOMINATIONS in the 46th Grammy Awards 2003, including the coveted BEST PRODUCER, (Non Classical) & Best (production of a) Pop Vocal Album for his work for Justin Timberlake's justified. The only other two people up for SIX were Jay-Z and Beyonce. Jay-Z came away with 4, and Beyonce with two of her own.

Neptunes never won before because the record company never submitted their name for nomination, and there are more than enough angry interviews about that. This was confirmed by commitee, and many suspect they would have walked away with at least three in the 45th Grammy, because songs they worked on were so well recieved.

Meanwhile for 47th Grammies, their work on Gwen's album earned five, they PERSONALLY GOT FOUR NOMINATIONS OUT OF TEN ACROSS ALL OF VIRGIN RECORDS, and no less than six other artists (including Nelly, for Suit) went to the Grammy's with the neptunes in their pockets.

Also, the Neptunes produced and co-written song Hollaback girl was the first song to ever go Platinum through commercial DOWNLOADS ALONE, being the first to sell over 1,000,000 copies. They are the FIRST producers to have that happen, and you gonna say they can't sell.

Learning to actually back up what you spout off is a milestone of maturity.

vertical,
raum

True, Dre has some boys in the running, but these were only the DIRECTLY related nominations and credits. Of all the people in this thread, the Neptunes are the only ones with a nomination for Producer of the Year, Non Classical.

not Kanye, not Blaze, not even Dre. (and props to Premiere, but i think he is a better do-er than planner. man can scratch like no-one though)
