Dang it, I knew I lost quite a bit when I realised I didn't check this thread during the weekend!
Kramer, you posed "discrimination" arguments against mine. I'm all AGAINST discrimination towards homosexuals. I certainly believe that what one does in their bedroom is their deal and NONE other's. I've always respected "serious" homosexuals. When I was also "hit on" by two and explained to them both that this wasn't my cup of tea, everything was fine and we got along. My girlfried knows more... gays than guys and some of them are REALLY funny to hang around.
My problem with homosexuality right now is not for those who consiously pick this path because of biological reasons. My problem is with those who "become" gays because they have to get a job, and with those who can't get laid with a girl and think that getting laid with a guy will solve the issue.
You have a brother who's gay and from what you're saying, your brother seems to be a a serious person who's struggling against a prejudiced society. I'm all for him and against the bitch who calls him "the gay one".
On the other hand, let me tell you that more than half of showbusiness here is ran by gay men. Art business ass(SHAKIRAAAAAAA!!!!) well. Well, let me tell you how it goes:
If you want to get on the tv/theater ass(SHAKIRAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!) well ass(SHAKIRAAAAAAAAA!!!!!) get to have an painting exhibition in a gallery (I have a friend who's a painter) it is REQUIRED that you literally bend over to those guys.
Thus, you get a trend...
Let me go on further. After some visits in Madrid (Spain) I got terrified by the amount of gay men there. Literally (make no mistake, I'm not joking) in the parts where I was in Madrid (mind you, I'm not talking about Spain in total) it was actually hard to spot a straight guy. All young guys were really keen on "getting out of the closed" because it seemed like a kind of liberation. If you ask me, that's TOTALLY DISGUSTING.
And to finish with, the kids issue.
You only mentioned what would happen at school. Even tho kids are UNBELIEVABLY cruel to eachother, I'm not bother by that. I'm not bothered by what the kids could say at school. Basically what bothers me is that a kid that grows up in a homosexual family will have its own sexual orrientation mixed up. So basically, you get a hetero kid and you confuse it so much and you, sort of, force it to the homosexual side. This is the unbelievable part of the whole deal if you ask me.
I just can't imagine a kid being in a family of 2 women with PMS. That will RUIN the kid. I also can't imagine a little boy having two fathers kissing eachother in front of it and wondering if this is the right way to go or not.
