the honest truth is he is supposed to be. its the way he's playing the character, and the way he created it. and he does it wonderfully. but for two and a half hours???
cut that shit in two, and give us some depth. it was ENTERTAINMENT, and almost three hours is excessive.
seriously. people pay for three hours of my time. or i read.
or better yet, cut out an hour ad give those of us with shit to do a digestable movie.
and don't make Davy Jones and his crew a friggin fish. they looked rediculous and stupid. ALL OF THEM.
ommitable parts,
the entire cannibal island, it was funny, and a homage to Lucas and Indiana Jones,.. but unessential to the story.
the whole scene where william meets his father, useless though well executed. we have all seen the scene before in a dozen movies.
the unessecary "tension" about revealing the friggin chest and key crap.
the entire *flying dutchman* and crew, which the should just call the "sinking special effects disaster"
