Alright fellas...
First of all, I don't give a fuck what Solomon would do in his situation. My point is that he is considered one of the wisest men and wrote what is considered one of the wisest books, and he makes several references to the injustice in getting your paper immorally.
I am not saying what this dude is doing is horrible. I am saying it is wrong. Drugs don't destroy lives, people who use them do. Sure. But I ask, if nobody dealt them, and you had to produce the drug yourself, would they be anywhere near as much of a problem as they are now? No. Just because you are not the direct cause of a problem does not mean you can do nothing to solve it.
Do you really see Socrates, Aristotle, Ghandi, Mohammad, Jeshua, or Ron Artest endorsing this kind of activity? If you think the Son of God would sell crack to addicts so he could start an orphanage, then I have no argument against you. We simply disagree.
There are noble, right ways to get money. There are noble, right ways to distribute the money. This cat has 1 of 2 down. It's only semi-right. I don't totally disagree with what he is doing, I think it is kind of cool and refreshing. But at the same time, he could use all his drug money to invest in some real estate, etc. and get money legally and in a way that is not detrimental to society.

Getting paper immorally..?
What's immoral about doing good in school and getting a scholarship..? Like I said before, do you think that the kids that won scholarships on the behalf of a company like Enron gave that money back..?
According to you chaps, they should...And those people, unlike someone choosing to do drugs, didn't ask to have their lives shitted on by some some suit trying to cover his own ass...
Aemeth, your post has so many contradictory points in it, I am not going to touch it...What is the difference in taking drug money and flipping it on real estate, than trying to give a young kid a chance to have a better life, maybe better than he's had..? Gzus...

Was it Solomon who whacked people to get his thrown or was it King Solomon who after being given the thrown by King David, whacked people in defense of his thrown.
Neither: It was Solomon's advisor who dispatched Assassins to kill the other four people who had some claim to the throne, with Solomon's full knowledge. The last of these was his brother, who was in the Temple. it was not until after they were dead that Solomon was crowned King.

Is selling drugs wrong? Yes or no? If you say yes, then I have no more argument, we simply disagree.
His cause is noble, and I don't see the point of giving the money back. But it needs to stop. This drug dealer is helping fuel a demon-machine, and while he may not be driving it, he is still responsible for its existence. All I know is if the guy who killed my aunt and uncle while he was on meth wouldn't have had anywhere to get the meth from, they would still be alive. This story is not uncommon...
The difference between making money off drugs and making money off real estate is simple: one destroys lives and one doesn't. Maybe I didn't clarify that as soon as this dealer starts with real estate, he STOPS dealing?
The cause is noble and admirable. But what's the use of scooping buckets of water out of one person's life just to dump them into the life of another, especially when there are neutral, virtually unlimited sources to draw from?

Ok, everything is Proverbs should just be ignored and disputed. You can win this one. But the truth is not thwarted by Solomon's dirty deeds...

So Aemeth, your argument is, and correct me if I am wrong, is that if there was no such thing as a drug dealer, people would not find and use drugs..?

me.....If your familiar with the bible its obvious Solomon was aware of ,and i assumed ordered these men killed. And yes his brother was one of them. My point was when was it done, before or after he sat on the throne and was declared king. If its before it could be considered ill gotten gain if King David didnt want Solomon on the throne. If its after than he was defending his thrown. The bible and various web sites ive been to say it happened after. They also say Solomon forgave his brother and it wasnt until his brother made a second attempt at the throne by asking to marry King Davids former wife that King Solomon had him killed ..

Yea...Not just the dealer though, but everyone involved in the process...I'm sure there would still be some hardcore cats who would do the whole thing themselves so they could get their drugs...But it would not be NEARLY as much of a problem...

You cats are too naive for me...The sense of right and wrong, morality...Its just not consistent...On one hand you're saying one thing, but in another light, same shit just a different toilet, you say another...The logic...It's just way off...And I'm not saying its right or wrong, its is just terribly jagged, and I can't follow...
I don't know how you're going to make it through life w/that jaded perception, but to each his own...
