If I wasn't a Texas fan, you could say I was psychic...Bradford did his thing, but even with some HORRIBLE calls, they could not stop Texas from winning the game...They are a complete team...Offense, Defense...However you want to do it, they can do it...Once they settled down (and credit to OU, they lost a great player on D) and got going, they couldn't be stopped...Texas' punter is probably sleep most games...

GREAT win for the horns, and with no time to rest, Mizzou is next..!

I don't get it...

Texas has been one of the most consistent, if not the most consistent team in the country this year... #1 Oklahoma got beat just like every other team got beat...How is it then, we are still underdogs @ home even, to Mizzou..? If Oklahoma and Mizzou has been playing last week instead of Texas and Oklahoma, nobody would have picked Mizzou...Texas didn't get lucky last week, I watched the game...I've watched every Texas game this year...If you were to compare players and talent, almost nobody would meet up with Oklahoma...

This is a different Texas team than we've seen in recent years, even the national championship team...Everyone touches the ball, and Colt is clearly playing lights out...If OU can't keep up with Texas, how can Mizzou..? Oklahoma State gives Texas a tough time almost every year, but Texas wins...This whole shit about Chase Daniel having a chip on his shoulder after the loss; Chase dedicated that game to a friend, even wore a different jersey...You don't think he wanted to win..?

Everyone is waiting for Colt to have the game that Chase had...But even if Mizzou wins, Colt will be solid...In fact, I thik Texas will have its best rushing game of the season...Texas is 14-3 vs Mizzou...Mac Brown has won more football games in a 10 year span than any other coach...And the D finally works...Texas will counter Mizzou's counter, and we will win this game...Period...

My gut tells me Mizzou was already counting that this could be a loss, but they'll still go to the Big 12 Championship...I think it can be a good game...But Mizzou..? They'll leave from Austin with an L, you heard it here first...Texas has the most brutal stretch of schedule in the country...I'm only worried they'll get fucked late season to a team that lost early in the season...

That rant finished, there will be some more ranked teams to tumble this week...I can't wait..!

THE UT GAME WAS FUCKIN' FANTASTIC!!!!

Meanwhile my Utes destroyed wyoming and the BYU cougars extended the nations current longest winning streak... Bitter rivals, it will be that much more interesting if both teams can stay undeafeted leading up to their end of season match-up....

Man, I love college football.... almost as much as soccer... =p~

So much for an undefeated match up against my utes....

TCU ends BYU's BCS hopes, win streak, and undefeated season

It was over when... TCU decided that Fort Worth was the perfect setting to spoil BYU's BCS dreams.
Gameball goes to... Andy Dalton, who missed TCU's last two games due to a knee injury, but looked fine against BYU, completing 12 of 19 passes for 170 yards and two TDs.
Stat of the game... 297. We hear all about BYU's offense but have you heard about TCU's defense? The Horned Frogs held the Cougars to just 297 yards of total offense.

BYU (6-1, 2-1 Mountain West) never had a chance this time. It wasn't even close, as TCU registered its biggest win ever over a Top Ten team.

"Nobody has been able to do that to BYU for a couple of years," TCU coach Gary Patterson said. "No way I could have seen it coming." Even though TCU (7-1, 4-0) had been pointing to this game since January, when a BYU logo was placed on a blocking dummy in the team weight room.

With the first Bowl Championship Series standings coming out Sunday, the only undefeated team left in the Mountain West is No. 14 Utah (7-0), whose eight-game winning streak is tied with No. 3 Penn State and No. 7 Texas Tech for the longest in the country.

The Utes obviously have the best chance to get into one of the major bowls since no BCS buster has ever lost in the regular season. But they still have to play TCU, which certainly can't be eliminated from that conversation since its only loss was at No. 4 Oklahoma.

"Our kids are going to be excited, I'm way excited," Patterson said, stopping to remind everyone that the Frogs' focus is on the conference title. "The bottom line is we have a lot of football to play."

Utah was the original BCS buster in 2004, then the following season came to TCU and had its 18-game winning streak snapped.

I love the grudge matches.....

What can I say... it was a great weekend for me...

First, my Utes...
UTAH: Corbin Louks and Matt Asiata both scored a pair of rushing touchdowns as the Utes ran past Colorado State on Saturday afternoon in a 49-16 decision in Salt Lake City. Louks churned out a game-high 109 yards on just five carries, the team racing up and down the field for a stunning 327 yards on just 37 attempts. Quarterback Brian Johnson converted 18-of-26 passes for 185 yards and a couple of touchdowns and also gained 27 yards on his five carries as well in the overwhelming victory. Utah, which has moved up to 12th in the current AP Poll, takes a break from the action this week and will deal with New Mexico in Albuquerque on the first of November.

...and of course... UT...
TEXAS - With back-to-back double-digit wins over Oklahoma and Missouri, the
Longhorns solidified their claim as the nation's top team. But the road won't
get any easier, as Mack Brown's club still must tangle with the likes of
Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and Kansas in the coming weeks. But on Saturday,
the story was once again Colt McCoy and his nearly flawless execution of the
Longhorn offense. McCoy finished with 337 yards on 29-of-32 passing, throwing
for two touchdowns and running for another pair. The Longhorns scored on their
first five possessions to jump out to a commanding 35-0 lead and ultimately
take all of the excitement out of what was a highly-anticipated matchup
between powerhouses. Texas is scoring 48 ppg, which ranks second in the FBS.

Chase Daniel had his worst game of the season by FAR when they lost to OK St...And the game was still close...What we will find out this weekend, like all other weekends, is that if Colt McCoy is in the game, you may as well pack your shit and head home...Now, everyone else is saying what I know I've been saying since the start, we're only just discovering the talent of the Horns...Shit man, first few games of the season, we weren't even sure who was gonna run the ball...Now the running game works, and Colt has a radar lock on receivers...It doesn't matter which one, shit, I think at least 5 different receivers caught the ball the other night...They throw long, they throw short...They pound the football, they finesse the football...Nobody else in the Big 12 has the athletes to play w/Texas...Oklahoma was the closest match, and that game wasn't even as close as the score would suggest...

I'm wondering if Penn State will answer the bell in Columbus this weekend...My guess is that they won't, this isn't the first season I can remember them starting well and then choking on some seemingly trivial game...The Big 10 is horrible this year...

Such a tough hard fought game for us... :( Everybody knew Crabtree was going to get the ball man...The defender wasn't even looking man, I feel like crying...A dropped int...Man this is crushing...

We had that game won man...What a suffocating loss man, loosing in the last seconds like that just sucks so bad...To make matters worse, we lost some great players on offense and defense...Now, we just have to hope no BCS fuckery comes into play...Texas' strength of schedule should keep us high...If Texas Tech looses to Oklahoma or Oklahoma State, I'll be bouncing off the walls...No game is a gimme, but we should beat Kansas, Baylor, and A&M...

With one loss to a high ranked team and winning the Big12, we should still have title hopes...Here's what I'm thinking for the new top 10...

Alabama
Penn State
Texas Tech
Texas
Oklahoma
Florida
USC
Oklahoma State
Utah
Boise State

I think Florida will be the new #4 and Texas will be 5. Florida had a great win today against Georgia
