McCain voted for, along with senate majority in both parties.
Ron Paul was strongest voice against the war.
Obama was not a senator, and was not privvy to any of the intelligence that caused many who supported the war.
He would probably have voted for it, as his vote is on par with the democratic majority on all military matters, and they voted for it by majority. He also has expressed willingness to take military action in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Georgia, and Africa... so it is not like he is a peace monger.

HA! 18 minutes into the 2nd debate & McCain's answer to every question asked thus far is "Stabalize The Housing Market". That's fine & dandy, but he doesn't say HOW. If asked what he'll do about global warming, I won't be suprised if his answer is stabalizing the housing market. Now he's talkin' about "pork barrel earmarked projects" again. Of course w/out acknowledging Gov Smellin's Bridge To Mowhere earmark which was pocketed away.

That is absolutely simplifying his answer.
His answer was to stabilize the VALUE of homes. These are the most common appreciated asset of Americans. That is essential for the first two questions to be answered confidently.
Finally TOM is controlling this debate! and it is REALLY ripping through some issues that can't just be rehearsed.

Sometimes simplicity is the best answer. McCain has now referenced Reagan thrice. He tryin' hard to distance himself from how similar his policies are to Bush's. Can anyone say Reaganomics ?!?.

McCain, btw, is strong on the environment. He is the person who gave me and my shipmates a congressional accomodation for our work in meeting EPA standards on behalf of the Navy. Then he implemented those programs fleetwide.
Obama is wrong, the computer was a one-man and one-woman job.
Babbage and Byron.

McCain: "We need a steady hand on the tiller..". Puh-leeze Louise!
The Man wants to start shit with Putin & Iran & has one leg deep in the grave.
The man is clearly disdainful of Obama. Still refuses to look him in the eye & showed it when he referred to him as "That One".
When he was asked the sacrifice question he started talking about earmarks. LMFAO
Dude & his slutbag have accused of Obama of looking to the past, yet constantly referencing Reagan, Teddy Roosevelt & his time being assraped by the VC in 'Nam. The guy is scattershot.
I love Barack for smacking him down with that "Bomb Bomb Bomb" quote.

Pallin doesn't get a mention from either candidate, yet Mccain mentions Biden favourably a few times.....thats twisted?

oh dear fuck! please play the we're so offended card that you have been slapping out of palin's hand while calling her a slutbag.
McCain said "that one" - Obama said things far more racist.
When he was asked the sacrifice question he started talking about earmarks. LMFAO
Wow, pretty selective hearing. he spoke of a nonessential govt. freeze to assess our taxpayers asset profile. That is essential. Data integrity is at an all time low. a man came in and said we need 700 billion... and now he says "things have changed. this won't work."
Dude & his slutbag have accused of Obama of looking to the past, yet constantly referencing Reagan, Teddy Roosevelt & his time being assraped by the VC in 'Nam. The guy is scattershot.
he didn't mention his time in nam tonight. palin was never mentioned, btu you have become so vitriolic you can only even use a name for obama, everyone else is just given derogatory names. far more critical than "that one".
And in political candidacy, that was not smart,..
then again, maybe for people like me,.. i like that kind of disregard for political correctness. This one and that one are exactly who these two are to me.
I love Barack for smacking him down with that "Bomb Bomb Bomb" quote.
That was actually on the radio back in the 80's you know? it was on Steve Dahl's radio show by Vince and the Variants from New Orleans, and it was an ANTIWAR song to the tune of Barbara Ann. you do know that, right?

The most specific thing he said was about this.
1. buy up the bad debt loans.
2. renegotiate loans to keep people in homes.
3. adjust nonessential spending to revised asset portfolio. This will require an asset freeze to properly evaluate.
DAMN CLEAR, and best practice.
