Oh, I confused you by having more than one?

I know the whole "MJ > Kobe" thing is hard to get past if you're too dense....but that's not what the topic has been asking.

If you're one of those people who is unwilling to listen to anyone's perspective because you've already made up your mind....say that up front so folks don't waste their time.

Gotta love juvenile quibs from people who get angry when people don't subscribe to their belief on a message board.

Can't wait for the questioning of my manhood next. Lol.

What are you talking about? When did I get angry? What "juvenile quib" did I make?

I'm not asking anyone to subscribe to my belief....I'm just looking for a conversation about the topic....which everyone seems incapable of doing..you in particular.

Not only are you almost constantly talking about something different than the topic....but youtube clips, copy/pastes from wikipedia, and bolding and enlarging your font hardly pass as educated discussion...

You pose questions, have your questions addressed...don't address any questions from the other side...and still remain content with the viewpoint you held all along...which ironically enough still isn't even on topic....

4 pages and nothing productive has come from it...

Maybe you if you can't read you shouldn't make topics. If you can't stay on one opinion maybe you don't want to make a topic.

Maybe if you want to make a circle jerk for kobe you should label as such.

The articles are pretty clear in that Jordan's supposed weakness that was brought in this very thread was overcame by him.

If you really can't see simple points of why I posted the videos than maybe you shouldn't make topics that have no conclusive evidence.

Nothing you have said has one factual proof why hes better than jordan or anyone currently playing. I'm done wasting post count and time on irrelevant dick jerking post.

Good! That means I'm not arguing about something that is irrelevant to the topic.....like you continue to do.

For the billionth time.... this thread is not who is better....it is about who has a better offensive skill set...

Point: Kobe Bryant has a better outside game than Michael Jordan.

If you are not going to make a counterpoint about that.....not about whether or not he wins dunk contests...how many rings he has...how many finals mvp's he has....then please don't bother posting anymore.

There really does exist some sort of a thread here, you just have to actually dig around all the bullshit.

"Are we witnessing the player with the best offensive skill set of all time in Kobe Bryant?"

"No, MJ is clearly better"

"Okay, but who has a better skill set offensively?"

"MJ played the game before Kobe...therefore he's better"

"Sure, but who has a better skill set offensively?"

"MJ > Kobe!!!!!!"

"Kobe has a better outside game"

" I SAID MJ > KOBE AND THATS FINAL"

So bringing it back to where we left off.....Kobe's outside game seems to be better than Michael Jordans (I won't bother looking up the statistics because something tells me I'm gonna be met with another "MJ > KOBE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" comment) If you'd like to refute that and give some evidence as to why MJ's outside game is better than Kobe's..or how that is canceled by something MJ does that Kobe doesn't (again, this topic is limited to offensive skill set...) then let's carry on from there.

I'm not looking for a circle jerk about Kobe....I'm looking to have a discussion about the topic....if I thought everyone was gonna agree, I wouldn't have posted.....but I don't want to have irrelevant shit thrown around like it's proof..

Why even discuss different players from any league? It always turns into a shouting fest. I mention Garnett and Drew has to get all nasty about him and he talks about Kobe and 84 jumps on him about that.

Can't we all just agree that Garnett is greater than Kobe and Jordan is greater than Garnett? Therefore Jordan > Kobe.

Oh and...Tee Hee...

I never got nasty about him...I just know that you must be joking to mention him in the same sentence as Kobe or Jordan...

As I've already said....he isn't even the best player at his position (even if you list him at PF or C) in this decade....he cannot be considered for the greatest player of all time..

Not to mention this thread isn't even about the greatest player of all time.

I'm making a specific argument about one segment of the game and the one player that I think does it the best.

If we can't talk about that....then we can't talk about sports and this whole section should be taken down

Every discussion is worthwhile as long as people are coming to the table reading and understanding what is being talked about...
