QUOTE(AYHJA)This has still not, and cannot be proven...
Didn't you say in the Creation vs. Evolution thread that there was a supernatural force? It seemed more logical that way, right? Well, why wouldn't that supernatural force than govern us and set up rules that we should live by? What would be point of a God if he just created us and sat back and watch us kill each other off?

Yes, I said that...But I don't understand how those thoughts are being confused with these...Gods would have a hard time setting up rules for humans, for the same reason that you would have trouble explaining to my 3 year old son how to properly play baseball...There is a tremendous gap that you have to account for...Besides...
You're asking the wrong question...The question isn't what the point of God creating people to watch us kill each other off...
The question is...Why would God (Read into, Lord of the Universe) create us at all..?

Without purpose, there is no right and wrong, granted?
The universe has purpose, since we are able to wonder if it does.
There is an absolute standard that God created, but we cant judge others against it because we can never know what it is for them. See, God judges what we think is right and wrong in our mind. He looks at the heart. Yet, this is not absolutism, since this is different for everyone. But I do believe that there is some standard out there, the more you follow and pursue God the better you begin to understand what it may be like.
I dont think right and wrong could exist in our mind, without there being some Natural Law of Truth that governs us. In the same way many ppl prefer different kinds of drinks (symbolizes what is right), they all come from water..

Is that the universal right and wrong that you hav been talkin about .......... if it is then it totally contradicts everything that u hav sed up untill now coz that means God judges everyone diff which to me suggests that there is no universal right or wrong .......... of course standard is something totally different to the so called universal right and wrong.
So if u want to reinstate ur views again on how that is a universal right and wrong ...........pliz do i ll be ready to read that

God judges us on our mindstate, but someone may take anothers life recklessly, and think it is right for them for some unknown reason, yet I believe it is still wrong in the eyes of God. Seems logical, I mean why would we kill another person and think it could be right? If that person represents God (which they do), that makes it even worse.
Yet God wont hold it against us if we were doing something that we thought was honoring him, even if he may not agree with it.
I have a theory that there are two kinds of sin: 1) Doing what you know is wrong, 2) Human Ignorance
the first we can conquer, the second we cant, since we are fallen creatures..
I look at it this way..If there is no universal wrong, that means there can be no sin. Without sin, the whole purpose of God sending himself down in human form to die for our imperfections becomes meaningless.
Without wrong, there is no sin. Without sin, there is no real significance to Jeshua's exsistance..He would simply be a Christian Buddah, just another philosopher..

@ DeEje...Nevermind the fact that not much of your post is backed by anything in the bible...
What gave you the impression that Jesus came down JUST to die for our sins...?

Then what else did he come down for? Wasn't that the main reason he came?
