SpaceMonger scans and displays everything in size-based blocks. Pretty nifty, Its helped me track down forgotten DVD images and such that need to go.

Total Commander from http://www.ghisler.com is an absolute must.

Easy to use, very light, opens split files that Mpc and Vlc won't.
Automatically downloads codecs that may be required,but comes with
almost everthing...little glichy on some mpgs.
Enhancement adjustments, as well as other features.
Worth while to check out.

A while ago, a wise man I know pointed me to the best defrag app., I have ever used.

JK Defrag is freeware, that includes some nice maintenance tools.

I really give this one two thumbs up.

I think System Mechanic Professional is a superb tool for keeping my PC running smoothly. It's from Iolo Software and although a bit pricy at around $80 or so, it's worth it

Better than TuneUp Utilities 2008, GD..? Its pretty good, and its free... ;)

I've never used Tuneup....System Mechanic is pretty powerful but, like I say, pricey with it. I was trying CCleaner just yesterday in work, another free utility and it's really excellent. I'll check out Tuneup and do a comparison and get back to you.

Installed Windows Vista x64 back in January 2008 (full switch). It's gone through patches and service packs. Never once had a "tune up" or a defrag and it's still blazing fast.
