Deepak,
There is this song everyone should hear, though few might appreciate it. This song is the pure essential secret of Mastery. It is called "Love and Peace." It is instrumental, but the songs tones still capture the woman's tone, she who originally wrote the song for the Yellow Emperor over 250 centuries ago for his delight in the Golden Kingdom!
This song was played for me, and though it has no words, I heard it perfectly.
Last night, I was played a song 25000 years old on a 500 year old instrument, called the er hu. It litterally means er = 2 hu = (the sound a violen makes). If you heard the mournful sound of the violin sounding instrument on Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, you know the beauty that is the er hu.
I did not hear this on recording, but on an instrument of pure beauty. The base of it looked like a coiled dragon, the neck guided the two strings, and the Head of it looked like a dragon. In a chinese er hu the fibers on the bow of the violin are between the two srings on it body. The air usually goes out of the holes on the body, like a typical violin, or special ones have a hollow neck that is ade of bamboo and the sound comes from the neck. The Hollow neck is considered a superior instrument.
The Master I heard play this instrument was possessed of an instrument that looked like a coiled dragon made of cherry wood. The Neck reached skyward, and ended in a Dragon's head. The sound came from the Dragon's mouth, and A small tongue in the dragon's mouth flicked as the instrument was played.
I heard that Dragon sing the ageless song of Love and Peace.
I looked right at the master, and asked simply "If this Dragon can sing the song of Love and Peace, then can not every man?" in my head, not so much as moving my lips or my neck.
The Master bowed to me, and said "WE CAN.". I understood our meeting perfectly.
The Key to Mastery is submission.
