Damn, that's a tough one I've asked myself a hundred times. I've always had minor vision problems (near-sighted with astigmatism, and now far-sighted too since 40) and I've recently started having some hearing loss (too many times at the gun range without hearing protection).

If I had to choose, I guess I'd go with deaf. At least you could still write to communicate.
