QUOTE(Lost Ghost)And when you suited up back in 99........where was the Big 12 in conferances? I am surely gaurnetee not 5th...

regardless of how they're doing this year.....you can't say they're pop-warner football......

This just really got to me, becasue I'm always hearing people talk about NFL teams that are doing badly and saying how they suck and its pathetic to watch them....and all I can think is.....these guys all were STARS on their highschool teams....these guys are the best in the business....by no means is any team in the NFL terrible...there are just better teams out there......on any given sunday isn't any true-er than in the NFL.

People'd like to argue that College Football is more or less closer than the NFL in terms of who can win what games....but that's not true....not every team has a Reggie Bush.....but in the NFL....all teams have Reggie Bush type calibur players....playing almost every position........It's all about turnovers and who wants it more when its 3rd and 2

Lost Ghost, you need to stop taking things so personally. It's merely sarcasm. Do you honestly think I think the Big 12 is pop warner football? It's just my way of saying they are bad this year. Back when I was playing Nebraska was dominating the country.

QUOTE(Lost Ghost)99 you started at corner for ASU........so wait how old are you now? and Arizona State isn't no joke...how come you never mentioned that before? Come on man...I want stories..

We hardly played in front of packed crowds at Sun Devil stadium. I never mentioned it before because I wasn't even close to being the best player on the team, not even in the secondary (played with Adam Archuletta, he's with the Rams now). I wasn't highly recruited out of high school, only Arizona State and UTEP offered me scholarships. Didn't even try to go pro because I was no where near good enough and I knew that as soon as I set foot on campus.

High School I played free safety because we were pretty undersized, (went to HS in Texas). Was 2nd team All State at free my 11th grade year (8 picks, 5 returned for TDs and 70 tackles). Senior year only had 2 INTs and didn't even make All-City. Arizona State and UTEP both told me I was too small for safety and would have to move to corner, ended up liking corner more than free. As for Archuleta, he benched 500 and only weighed 215 when he did it. He hired this Russian plyometrics trainer for the off season and the guy worked with him on static lifts and quick burst speed drills. He was faster than I was too, I think he got his 40 time down to like a 4.4.

QUOTE(Lost Ghost)Whens the last time you suited up for D-1?

QUOTE(B-Diddy)December '99, Lost Ghost, I started at corner for 2 years at Arizona State. If you send me your address I'll gladly send you a media guide, autographed for no charge my friend!

Gotta love it when sarcasm jumps up and bites you right in the cotton..! Damn, I swear man, this site gets better and better everyday...

The Big 12 is horrible LG...And you are talking to a man that swears by the option...The option started in the Big 12, and as so long as Nebraska was running it, they were winning...This year..? The year we are talking about..? Big 12 is garbage...MUCH more garbage than the Pac-10, and you measure that up by the best teams in the confrence...Texas has hardly been tested this year...At all...Oklahoma has been the dominant team the past few years, and they got they shit pushed so far in my USC, it didn't make no sense...If I had to rank the confrences, I would do them like this:

SEC
Big 10
Pac 10
ACC
Big 12

Oh, and so that my post isn't completely off topic...

Reggie Bush is a God...

QUOTE(Lost Ghost)Take USC out of the Pac-10 and they'd get murded as well....Oregon is having a fluke year.... UCLA is doing good, but you can't be serious.

USC would not get murdered outside of the Pac-10. They have a great team and could beat almost anyone. Oregon is not having a fluke year either. Last year was fluke for them....first time in I don't remember how long that they didn't have a winning record. UCLA has been good past couple years so they need to be considered.

I live on the West Coast and I know Pac-10 football. It's not as bad as most people think
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

Pac 10 football is very good...But the defenses are far from stingy, lots of shootouts in them parts...

oh...this is the place where my long post got deleted before i posted it....

TT you misunderstood me.......I meant without USC in the pac 10....the whole pac 10 would get murdered

why is no one saying Leinart for the hiesman? He's putting up better numbers this year, as a senior, then he did when he won it as a junior.

I think it is because they realize how dynamic RB is...I mean, Carson Palmer's numbers looked like shit compared to Matt's numbers, and Carson won it...But, on the best team in the land, you gotta look at who does more...And man, that damn RB is that deal..! Matt is still up there, and I wouldn't be shocked, or mad really if he did win it, the kid's got heart, but I don't think USC would be nearly as scary w/o RB...Running back, WR, PR, KR...Lethal in all aspects, leading the nation with 10 yards per touch..? Man, that's insane...
