GeIL is good but if you want great RAM I highly recommend OCZ. I have a dual channel 2GB DDR400 Platinum kit and dual channel 1GB DDR400 Enhanced Latencey kit in my system.

I have the Opteron 165. You definitely want dual core.

I use Seasonic power supplies. Very quiet, stable and efficient. They also have active PFC to protect your expensive parts.
