Are you kidding me about Rondo? He's the guy that makes that team go! When he's off that's when the team slides. That spell they took when they lost 7 of 9 was when Rondo went into a major slump. KG is the heart but Rondo is the glue. They just aren't playing with the same intensity as last year and when they matched up with the Lakers this year it was pretty obvious who wanted to win more. I can't take any regular season game and say yup that's the team that's going to excel in the post season.

Look at Boston last year they cruised through the regular season and almost lost in the playoffs twice because the playoffs are a completely different beast. I like the Lakers game from an offensive point but I think in a 7 game series against the more dominant defensive teams in the East they will get their mouth smacked. They can play defense for a game or two but they are still a finesse team at heart. I watch LeBron and the kid is a beast and he makes the guys around him play better when things are on the line. Kobe is fantastic but he tries to take over a game by himself when things get dicey. No I'm not a stat geek so I'm not going to role out a bunch of numbers but right now in the regular season yes the Lakers look great but I still don't see the toughness to win the whole thing.

I don't mean to offend ya Habib you have your opinion and I have mine we'll see in June right?

Well true that, you have your opinion and I have mine but I'd like to point out an error, that's NOT true...

I'm not a stat geek either, but they show it up in every game, and it's obvious that Kobe's stats are way down this year because of he's sacrificing to do more teamwork and accepting a role of leadership instead...so he DOESN'T try to take over a game by himself...I'm tired of hearing the "bla bla bla makes the people around him/on his team better," gosh...

I don't know if its true or not, but it seems that some of the C's on the floor coaching carries over into the games too much...Maybe its just highlights or whatever, but the other night, Paul Pierce was saying something to one of the players who fouled someone, and dude was just like, 'Damn, you didn't even see the play, STFU," lol...Like you said DL1, they just don't look as hungry as before...

Yeah I give em credit for being semi good this year and not imploding like the year after the Heat won it all...remember that? That was just embarrassing how they fell apart right from game one that whole year after and really since. But Boston just doesn't want it right now. Maybe when the playoffs begin they'll turn it on but I doubt it. But I'm still ecstatic to get #17 so I can't complain. Just hope I didn't offend you guys with my Laker views. You have to understand it's a blood hatred of that team and the Yankees if you grew up here so nothing personal to you guys....I still got your backs in other stuff! ;)

OK...Utah Jazz seems to be moving into the spotlight now -- they are a team to watch out.

In what light do you guys see them 3 months from now?

That's ok...I wasn't expecting much from my boys this year without KG anyway. They played like a team ready to hit the links and it showed. It's Cleveland's year this year. But next year the Green will be back.
