I think in white america hayden appeals to general males. Most of the movies she was famous for was as a cheerleader. And on heroes she was the apple pie cheerleader as well. So I can see Hollywood having her do it.

To me there is not a shortage of blondes in hollywood. To me all the actress would have to do is play off the dude that plays pete well. Their relationship has to be beliveable that Pete would be willing to kill for her in the future. So it all comes down to who is writing the script.


As much as I dig Blake she really is to old for teen roles now even though she is playing one on Gossip Girl.

So it depends if this is college era pete or they try to harry potter the franchise for no reason.

I read the Gwe Stacey chick the other day and forgot to put it on here, so I'm sorry about that. I think she woulda been perfect for MJ but Gwen? But that other guy is PERFECT for the Vulture which pisses me the fuckity fuck off!!! The Vulture may be one of the lamest Spidey villains of all time! Why is Hollywood determined to use that shithead? Is Steve Ditko's family owed some money by Stan Lee or something? Whata we got comin up for a sequel? The Rocket Racer? How bout Stilt Man? I fuckin hate Hollywood and Marvel.

I'm tellin ya Sony doesn't give a fig about the Spider-Man lore. The franchise ain't nothing but a cashcow to them. Do you honestly think with all the lame hype & bad casting this will be any good? Especially with Avi Arad still behind the producer's wheel. They can reboot a dozen times over & it'll still be crap while it is under his watch. I hope it tanks hard. Everyone knows this is just being made so Fony do not lose the rights back to Marvel. Ditto for the Superman reboot.

It's just so sad though. I mean..the VULTURE? It's like they are purposely saying fuck you to the fan base and oh by the way give your money too while your at it.

The Vulture? Huh?! I thought the reason they ditched Raimi's Spider-Man 4 was cos he was gonna have John Malkovich as The Vulture (& The Lizard facing off against the wallcrawler) & they said that young viewers wouldn't respond to an old guy with wings? Hence the whole reboot. Personally,I think Malkovich would've been badass!Who is this new Vulture supposed to be?

I assume it's the original Vulture and not the just as lame newer version of the Vulture that's been trotted out recently in the book. I mean if they want to go classic but not the Goblin yet cause its too soon then why not start with the Chameleon or Kraven or even the Rhino...blechh the Vulture.
