LMFAO...

Man, you didn't see how WAI got the Asshat..?!?! Man is was astronomical ass-dom...He did some "investigating" and posted pics of Souther Shooter (my brother) thinking they were me, when in fact, the pictures were already here posted in a thread...It was too funny...

But, I can understand your call for bullshit, let me shed light...Grossing doesn't refer to his pay, but to to money the movies he has been in has made...With Pixar's "The Incredibles" SLJ moved in front of Harrison Ford to take the title...In that respect, it should make more sense...

the origin of GOLF is not an acronym for Gentlemen Only Ladies Forbidden.

The world Golf is a variant spelling of gouf, is a adoption of colf (sometimes spelled colve, or with a K) associated with a game Holland meaning "stick, club, bat," it was essentially hitting a stone wit a stick to pass the time on a long journey, with the mischevious end of hitting the stone into the doorways or windows of buildings along the journey. This was developed from the Romans "Paganica" which was played in a similar way.

Colve comes from the proto-Germanic *kulth- meaning to strike wth a club", evidenced in the German word kolfr meaning "clapper of a bell" (as well as Kolben meaning "mace, club"). The word root is kol, the proto-hebraic word for "instrument, tool, hammer, club, level, etc."

The name of game itself is from 14c., the word is first mentioned as a name of a game in a 1457 Scot. statute on forbidden games that offended the Jacobites. It was declared "that the Fute-ball and the Golfe be utterly cryit doune and not usit."

The first man to distill bourbon whiskey in the United States was a Baptist preacher, in 1789.

Sounds like my kinda guy!

A triple:

Charles Dickens slept facing North. He thought it improved his writing.

Aztec emperor Montezuma had a nephew, Cuitlahac, whose name meant †™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™¢¢¬‚¦‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦¢‚¬Å“plenty of excrement.†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬?

David Prouse (the man inside the Darth Vader suit in Star Wars) spoke all of his lines in the first movie. He did not know that his voice was being dubbed over with that of James Earl Jones until he saw the finished movie.

Raum,

I'm glad that hasn't changed since 21st April (item 16)

1. At the last count the monks (!) who make the Benedictine liqueur had 641 examples of forged bottles made in attempt to copy the success of the herbal drink.

2. The Hawaiian alphabet has 12 letters.

3. Barbie's measurements if she were life size: 39-23-33.

4. The Eisenhower interstate system requires that one mile in every five must be straight. These straight sections are usable as airstrips in times of war or other emergencies.

5. No NFL team which plays its home games in a domed stadium has ever won a Superbowl. (This may be out of date)
