for the record, if I still managed a lady's shoe store, I would hire CY at 8.00 an hour + 15% commission.

She would within a month have an average 3-5 ncUPT (non-clearance units per transaction) and would easily fulfill 40% of my store's quota working fulltime, earn about 18% of that back, and thus gross an average 20% of my stores earnings, after employee expenses, and free lunches. She would have a 30+ retentions rate (i.e. 30 of every 100 customers she spoke to would come back before end of month) and at least a 18 exclusive "regular" clientele (18 of 100 customers she helps would make sure she helps them when they shop) before I trained her.

within a three month period, she would be a shift lead, averaging about 20 dollars an hour, after commission. (more like 16% when its slow).

CY, if you need a job, you should see if a good nordstroms or a boutique is hiring. They need you, and you could be a part of small staff, due to your potential earning ability.

Good communication skills about footwear are hard to find. Make sure you get some kind of commission!

Aww, I officially love Raum! /:D" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt=":D" />

I'll be done with my two-year internship in...a bit over a year, lol. But once it's over I'll definetely look into that!

Perhaps sales is the field for me... I'm a pretty smooth talker, believe it or not. /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
