well its a known fact that fathers are much more closer to their daughters and daughters find it easier to confide in their fathers.

No...fathers are much more protective over their daughters.

When girls get a certain age....Fathers seem to no longer matter lol.....we turn into the enemy, but before long it's back to normal..later in life.

I'm happy to report that my daughter is 17 and has never gone through that "Dad is the enemy" stage. We've always been close, she has always confided in me (within reason) and has always looked to me as protector/mentor/life-guide. There have been a few times I've let her down and she's readily accepted my apology. She's dating this nice guy right now that I haven't met yet, but will. I had her let him know that I have NO problem in going back to prison... LOL
