The Pacific Ocean's Mariana Trench, located just east of the Philippines, has the deepest known point below sea level...Challenger Deep is some 10,911 meters (35,797 feet) deep at its maximum...If you had the means, you could submerge Mt. Everest and still be a mile underneath water...

The pressure at such a depth would be like having 50 jumbo jets piled atop you...

The record coldest recorded temperature in North America: -81.4 oF/-63 oC, Snag, Yukon, Canada, February 3, 1947...

At that temperature, any unprotected flesh would freeze within seconds...

Yeah....thats cold as hell......there is -100 down in antartica much more frequently....but thats not inhabitanted by people like Canada.......that would be horrible to be in...
