GIMP is capable of a lot more but it is a native Linux application that was ported to Windows. There also isn't any stable 64-bit version available. The last experimental build was 9 months ago and hasn't been updated AFAIK. I use Paint.NET where, as it lacks some of the features of GIMP, it was designed around .NET Framework for Windows. It also has a stable 64-bit mode in it's current release. :p

No, I don't use registry cleaners...especially ones that claim a 70% performance boost. :silly:

http://personalfirewall.comodo.com/
Cost: Free
Size: 56MB
Version: 4.1
What is it: Comodo Firewall introduces the next evolution in computer security: Default Deny Protection (DDP). What is DDP? Most security programs maintain a list of known malware, and use that list to decide which applications and files shouldn't access a PC. DDP takes things a step further to ensure complete security. Comodo Firewall references a list of over two million known PC-friendly applications. If a file that is not on this safe-list knocks on your PC's door, the Firewall alerts you to the possibility of malware. All this occurs before the malware infects your computer. Prevention-based security, the only way to keep PCs totally safe.
