I have to admit that Paul P. and K.G. had their worst games, but so did Lamar Odom and Paul Gasol... Shit just happen.... But I noticed that Phil put Sasha on the benched in the 3rd quarter and he was lights out the whole game....... What was he thinking.... Another thing that I noticed, If the lakers be clicking on all cilinders, they cannot be stopped... I think that the starting line-up for game 4 should go like this

Turiaf on Garnett(Turiaf will bring alot of energy, althought he may only get about 4pts, he will get about 8 to 10rbs and 2-3 blocks)
Gasol on Perkins( Gasol will be aggressive enought to at least get 16 and 10)
Bryant on Pierce(Bryant will continue to get his, put Pierce in foul trouble, and it will be like game 3 )
Sasha on Allen (It may sound crazy but little Sasha is good and he plays great defense )
and Odom on who ever.......

To me, the key to the Lakers winning is exactly what they did to pull away in game three...If Lamar kick starts the offense (because its obvious Kobe must be trapped) L.A. spreads the floor and wins...They have too many shooters...If Lamar can be aggressive without getting into foul trouble, all Gasol has to do is pick up Lamar's misses, put them back, or kick the shit out to the assassins...With the ball in Kobe's hands at the end of the game, you MUST respect him...He's shown too many times in the past that he can close games out single handedly...He can get them bunnies in the lane easy, and if you foul him its and one...

HA ha one win and they now can't be stopped huh? I'm tellin you guys I like LA but they are soft. They played pretty good defense last night but can a team that hasn't played it all year just suddenly change their stripes? I know Odom and Gasol have played lousy so far but you're not going to put those two guys in Pierce and KG's class are ya? If Kobe isn't working, then as you saw in Boston the team is doomed. He is the offfense. They have some other guys that can shoot the ball pretty good when they aren't harassed but when you get physical with them they disappear as you've seen Odom, Gasol, and Radenovic do. Overall Boston played in LA (without KG and Pierce being able to throw the ball into the ocean and Rondo out most of the second half) much better than LA played in Boston.

Believe me guys I'm trying not to be a loudmouth "my team can do anything" guy. The C's concern me when they play soft on the road like last night and most of the playoffs but I can't see them losing three straight. They lost 3 to Cleveland and Atlanta but not in a row and they were stronger defensive teams than the Lakers. I believe LA will win one of the next games to send the series back to Boston down 2-3. If you can continue to keep Pierce and KG contained and somehow Odom and Gasol learn some muscle maybe they can win all three but I just can't see it happening. I just always in sports go with the better defensive team. As much as it pains me to admit this, the Giants were better defensively than the Patriots. The Red Sox pitching and D better than the Rockies. And I don't follow hockey but I bet Detroit was better defensively than Pitt. And you'll never meet a more pessimistic fuck than me but I like our chances in LA but I still wish ya good luck....well not really. :geek:

Hey man, this is the sports section...You are allowed to be the' loudmouth my team can do anything guy'...Shit, that's why this forum exists..! Let it fly man, this section has been dormant way too long...But you must humor me on some of these points you made:

1. The Hawks and Cavs are a better defensive teams than the Lakers..? Statistically speaking, this just isn't true...The Lakers are 4th in blocks (Hawks 11th, Cleveland 8th), 11th in steals (Tied w/Cleveland, Atlanta is 16th), so...Clarify please...Granted, KG is a defensive stud, but whom else would you consider a defensive player..? Paul Pierce plays hard defense, but he's not good like that...

The C's play good team defense, but they finish poorly...How many playoff games have we saw the C's have a big lead, lapse, and almost loose games..? We've seen that this series...In order for the C's to win, so many people have to play well...That just isn't true for the Lakers...If you look at the box scores from the game, it will reflect this...Balanced scoring for both teams has resulted in C's wins...And one of those wins included a 38 to 10 free throw ratio to be won by 6 points...

The point is that neither team is a model of consistency...That's one reason why I don't think the C's can hold up...The only consistent thing we know is that if the game is close, in L.A., it favors L.A...Assuming those skittish defensive tactics of the Lakers in particular can be mended, the C's would need to win at least one of these in L.A...I just don't think it can happen, just like I think that if L.A. does win out in L.A., and they don't win game 6, they will loose game 7...

And for both of our sakes, please don't bring up the Pats loosing to the Giants...The wound is still fresh... :(

It's shit like this though, that makes me want to stop being a sports fan, seriously man...I can't tell you how many times the past 12 months I've seriously considered giving up sports entirely...I hate being a fan..! I'd rather much be able to enjoy sports on the side of indifference and just see a good game (ala Boise State vos Oklahoma) than to be up, having fun, celebrating, talking shit, and then watching my team win every game but the big one, or blowing ridiculous leads...This blows...And like I said, I think the C's are cool man, any team but the Lakers and I'm behind them 100%, but these kinds of losses sting bad as fuck..!

I can't eve being to describe how the C's even got back in the game, let alone won it...However...I'm going to hand this one on Kobe's shoulders...He had his worst night shooting by far...And his shit spread to the rest of the Lakers...After dominating for 2 and a half quarters, they started watching the C's play, missing layups...Just...Horrible...

All I can do now is hope one miracle will spawn another, and the Lakers win the next 4....

Nah, fuck that...Loose game 5 so I can start thinking about next season...Congrats to the C's for winning the championship, pending several miracles in a row, this shit is over for me...

Time to turn on the WNBA, watch me some Candace Parker...

I'm sorry man. As great as I feel today I know the pain you're going through. All I kept thinking was the Patriots all over again when the C's were down 20 in the 3rd. So I assume you feel the same right now. I still think LA takes Game 5 and Boston wins it back here. :o
