Yes....in fact, winning the west in the regular season doesnt mean shit. Being higher seeded is nothing more than a practical first round bye.

Excuse me for being too young. I realize that my age is what made me think that being 2nd in the Eastern Conferance, and defending champions makes my team horrible.
Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention, but because I'm only 16, this of course has no relavance, that the "Pissed-ons" have abetter home record than the Suns do.

Suns - 25-9
But you're right, my team is HORRIBLE, and isn't gonna even make the playoffs, let alone go over .500 ::Stratches head:: now I'm young remember, so my math skills arent that good but, 44-27 is a little bit higher than .500 right? i think its more like .620
I thought my team wasn't gonna get into the playoffs? They could lose every game the rest of the season....and still get in with a 5 or higher.
So...knowing both of our teams are going to get into the playoffs, and realizing that once the playoffs start, everyone forgets about the regular season...who would you rather have?
Suns- Havent even been in the playoffs for a while and haven't won a championship...ever. All their players are undersized and offense first minded with a suspect coach who play in a much harder conferance so each win in the playoffs takes more effort and talent

Defense wins championships and they play the best defense in all of basketball. their coach is one of the top 5 in the league who will cruise to the conference final against the Heat....they shut down the lakers last year, and no one is gonna say Wade is better than Kobe.

Good job on picking the Suns, it seemed stupid at the time, as I'm sure everyone will agree, but you got it right. Your last post seemed a little more relaxed and a little more realistic, not just out to bash on me. Man you got some good points about the Suns, they are killing everyone on offense, and they put together one helluva season, so I will give you some credit where its due, you picked them well.
Now that you seemed to have moved past the personal differences, we can start to talk about basketball.
The Heat isn't a complete team in my opinion. They lack a strong PF and SF. Eddie Jones is getting old, sure he can still shoot, but he'll have a tough time matching up against the premier SF's in the league come playoff time. Damon Jones had his coming out party this year, I'm just curious as to how long that will last. D-Wade is playing some incredible ball, and of course Shaq. I think the Pistons and Spurs are better overall teams, but I can see the Heat taking it as well.
After tonight we can talk more NBA...right now its all about them College Boys...
