Hell, at least you were addressing someone in the forum this time. Awesome!
I documented my technical error. You need to go attack FOX News.
BTW: I posted a HUGE reply, but it got lost when I hit the submit, and it told me I need to be logged in. THAT is part and parcel here. I am friggin mod, and my posts have gotten deleted, damaged, and even eaten by the internet beast that is AYHJA. Welcome to the club.
Sidenote - I really wish people would be less one-sided in their criticisms. Then, in order to balance the thread, I have to imbalance my own comments. And I have some really good stuff on EVERY candidate. (Remember, I know people in the govt... and I work in the energy industry and with energy policy and regulation.)

CDR! :laff: In all seriousness, maybe you should look into your 'puter or browser? This is the one place on the interweb where my posts arrive cleanly & w/out drama. Sure I get locked out of AF from time to time, but have never had an issue posting here. This hasn't been the first time I've heard you mention your posts gettin' wiped. Just sayin'.

I have used FIVE computers to access this site, and my posts get munched all the time. Some are beyond recognition, and some just a bit of weirdness. Some just disappear.

Raum-
the peanut shit call was good, cause it did get under my skin, why do you think i responded with the republican comment...and dude i had noted that you are a registered independant voter.
Jigga-
Palin clearly stated quite aggresively that she will be a champion of special needs in washington.
so yeah i think she has run with it lol....to bad she cant't just champion needs in general?
yep fair enough I was being a wanker when mentioning her daughters incubating ankle biter.
I didn't personaly direct my original post at anyone, I felt that way before I even read this thread. Raum if you took it that way thats your issue.
Like i said it's what I got from the reps convention, At least the reps gave me something to rant about...which isn't always a bad thing..
personaly I found the Dems convention quite bland. Maybe cause Obama is being a shitload more mature than the others.
but point taken I will confine my coments in this thread to being "fair and balanced"

blixa, don't get it twisted, nobody wants to censor you saying ANYTHING...I don't know about the others, but that's not what I meant...I take it that everyone here is at least smart enough to read something that doesn't have a pair of tits to greet them, so if you're being blatantly one sided, fair enough...But if you get called on it, and try to flame out in retrospect, then that's a problem...Not saying that's what happened either, just saying...I would rather get to know you first, so that when you are all worked up, I at least have a vague idea why...
@ raum
I know it might seem lame, but the forum as a nifty 'save' option...If you're working on a long post, you can work on the draft and then post it from there...It, combined with Firefox and its unbelievable ability to cache text (if you hit preview and continue to work, should the browser crash it should pull up everything from there...

sometimes i am logged in, and i type a reply, and then when i hit preview - it hangs up, and the next screen i see if the "you must be logged in to reply" page. i love you man, and this is not a slight against you or the combined efforts you spearhead to build this community - but that really is one of the things that keeps me from manning up in here like i used to.
i'll try the save thing tomorrow.

That may be some connectivity issues beyond our control, our server isn't in the U.S...So, some ISP's may resolve to the sever a different way...If I had money to spend, I'd do some load balancing to prevent such issues...Maybe one day I will do it...Other than that, I'm not sure what that could be, as I don't think I've ever had an issue with submitting posts on AF using Firefox, K-Mel, or more recently Chrome...If it does that often enough, CTRL+A to CTRL+C before hitting preview or submit will save you some trouble... ;)

The php board make the edit-instance of a thread expire if you take too much time to write it, when you click on submit it produces an error, although you dont lose the logged session.
Browsers handle sessions in different ways but i don't think that could be the problem.
Though it might be a reasonable error in the case you are through a proxy (and blame its config) or accessing with a not fixed IP or some public shared wifi.

personaly I think in the end Mccain isnt the Maverick he says he is and America will probably be "short changed" by Obama
Palin won't end up being able to "ban abortion" or make "everyone go to church" and Biden will just be your same ole' democrat
what do you guys feel seperates the two
I mean you can argue economics but you can't really judge that untill they have had a few years in oriffice
for me it's been the stance on the Iraq war/Invasion that really seperates them...
