I don't want to jinx either team by picking one since I pretty much bombed on all my picks. I love the NL and it was great to watch the Cards beat the Mets. Reyes was getting on my nerves with all that dancing and prancing he was doing in the dugout and Lo Duca started talking crap about my Dodgers so I'm glad it turned out the way it did. Leyland v Larussa. Now that's a great matchup. Carpenter, Suppan, and Weaver(who would've thought) = a solid postseason rotation.

I've gotta go for the Tigers. First of all, they did beat my Yankees, and second I think they have a better, more well-rounded team. I think they'll take it to the Cards

It's not really an issue since LaRussa didn't make it one. I had a feeling ole Kenny was doing something. I mean, all of a sudden the guy is unhittable in the postseason??? I'm sure LaRussa gave Leyland a break but I have a pretty good feeling that when Rogers pitches again he's going to get roped. Then again, he's so dumb he might get caught again and this time he'll get kicked out.

You can have different grips on the ball but the same control. Putting substances on the ball can also change the trajectory of the pitch. Same with using sandpaper to rub down a side to get an unnatural spin on it

OK, at this point, its obvious he's been fucking cheating...
What are they going to do about it..? And to make it so bad, its looking like its not just the Tigers involved, everyone was telling conflicting stories...
Ahh, I smell the Mafia in baseball like days of yore...
