Nolan Directing Superman?
Well, sort of. Read on for lots of DC movie goodness.

US, February 26, 2010 - Rumor has it that Nolan will direct the reboot of Superman after all. But not that Nolan.
According to IESB, Dark Knight and The Prestige screenwriter Jonah Nolan, brother of TDK helmer Christopher Nolan, is being lined up to direct Superman: The Man of Steel, which IGN recently learned that he's co-writing with David Goyer. Jonah has never directed a feature film before, let alone a tentpole spectacle such as this. But with his brother Chris serving as a "godfather" and producer on the reboot, consider that his (and the studio's) insurance policy.
The juiciest unconfirmed rumor that the site claims to have heard is that Chris Nolan will not only shepherd the next Superman through development, but will also serve a similar role for Green Lantern and The Flash while directing Batman 3. (Think of it as being akin to Jon Favreau's consulting on all of Marvel's upcoming movies leading into The Avengers.) And that his involvement with and vision for all of these DC films will culminate with the Justice League of America movie ... which Chris Nolan would direct after Batman 3. Again, and as IESB points out, this is all unconfirmed rumor right now, but enjoy your nerdgasm anyway.
That Christopher Nolan is the new apple of Warner Bros.' eye is no secret, and was made all the more clear to us Feb. 17 at Warner Home Video's celebration of Clint Eastwood and the release of their new DVD box set Clint Eastwood: 35 Films 35 Years. We spoke exclusively with Warner Bros. topper Alan Horn there about the studio's DC plans, including the rumors of Nolan rebooting Superman. Horn equated Nolan with Eastwood, an artist the studio has managed to keep happily in their stable for years.
"Well, I can say the DC library represents a repository of very, very important assets to us and we are, especially as Harry Potter finishes its now decade-long run here at Warner Bros., we're excited about ramping up the DC properties. I thought the first Superman -- Superman Returns -- was actually a pretty good film, and Chris, of course, has done a great job with the two Batman films," Horn said. "So we expect him to be a big part of our future going forward, including with our DC properties. But I guess we think of DC as lining up planes ready to take-off on the runway. A number of properties we're very excited about and you'll be hearing about them shortly. ... I think we're going to be announcing something in the next couple of months."
