We now have a season start date...Mark it DOWN...

We will align the conferences, and start up that day, no if ands or buts about it...Matches will start on time, so make sure your thread has images...I don't mind posting your lineup, but looking for pics can get old...

Nope, we will still be doing tournaments up until, remember, we have 2 new teams coming into the mix, maybe 3..! I want to give those guys a chance to learn to play and how to work their roster, etc...

On the heels of the narrow semi final victory, tragedy strikes team 1337...Apparently, as Assistant Coach Suzana Alves was getting off the bus, a high powered dildo fell out of her duffle bag and injured two innocent bystanders...on reported serious shin and armpit injuries...

Coach Alves, embarrased totally, handed in her letter of resignation...She is being replaced by former Team 1337 point guard, Kayden Kross...

Awesome E...Good luck to you..!

If any of you have any ideas about how the season should be structured, please say so...There's so much to be done..! Do we want to do all the matches on the same day or try to..? Have 2 or 3 matches every other day..? What about conference names..? Should we give each of the top 4 pre season points leaders a conference and let them pick the teams they want..? Or, do a conference A, conference B type thing..?

I think if we have a number divisible by 4 we do 4 conferences...If we have less than that, we do 2...We are adding team Double Down and Blind G's team, And to even things off, we may add another...Ideally, if we had 16 teams, that would rock...

I am thinking too, that we do Matches every other day, maybe 2 a day...With a schedule, things can be spaced out more...And each match can be promoted by itself...Or, we can announce the matchups, and coaches can pick and choose the days they want to compete....Also, we can limit the amount of time matches stay open, either 7 days or a certain amount of votes...

And then, how about we stick w/3 girls instead of 5..? 3 girls seems to be plenty competitive, and we can do double headers...

1337 vs BZA on Monday
BLB vs iMNO on Tuesday

BZA vs 1337 on Thursday
iMNO vs BLB on Friday

That way, we're not always seeing the same teams, and there's not a ton of matches posted...I figure, everyone play everybody else at least once, a conference tournament, and then the league tournaments...

3 girls and 2 or 3 matches every other day or a schedule sounds good as I am not able to log on everyday to AF

we could also try a "king of the hill" type tournament, where one guy selects n girls to try and stay victorious as one contestant after another tries to dethrone him. once someone else wins, they assume the king of the hill spot. the king of the hill's lineup would be fixed, while the people trying to dethrone would have the slight advantage of picking a lineup they think might have a chance. I suggest that it would be a predetermined number of votes or points that would decide victory and therefore initiate the next round. I think it would spice things up a little if we had slightly larger line-ups; I think 4 girls would be interesting because there would be more opportunities for ties and "sudden death overtime" type action.

Also, would there be a way to mandate casting a vote for each new round by somehow setting a password for the stacks that is only revealed after casting a vote in the latest round or if passwords are a pain, then maybe a usergroup or permissions or something that would make at least casting a vote much more of a priority than it currently is for some of the less active subscribers to this forum? If they are gonna leach, at least take 1 min and cast a vote first, right?

anyway, those are my thoughts on the topic......i think the king of the hill thing has some potential, could even use this as a way to roll out the Hall of Fame or Untouchables idea that has been floating around.
