It was a pretty good tonight actually. You got me all pumped up to watch it and while having the same probs I mentioned above and still being very confused at what was going on...it wasn't bad tonight. But yes if Vandervoot ever starts wearing the SuperGirl outfit regularly even if she's just playing Keano the whole episode....well I'm watching.

Damn, this is only episode 15 and shit is shaping up like the season finale is next week...They say a regular cast member is due to die, and after watching that ep, I'm 88.4% sure that its Lionel...And 100% sure that if it is in fact Lionel that dies, Lex will be the one to kill him...Did somebody already mention that Vandervoort is the hottest thing on TV..?

Vandervoort? No did we mention her? Is she the chick who plays Jimmy Olsen? Oh! The Supergirl chick. Yeah she's alright if you like that perfect mind blowing blond look with a sizzling body....Ick! Anyway did you see the preview for next week? It showed Lex pushing Lionel through a window to his apparent death. But it looks too easy I'm sure Clark swoops in to save him. It may be Lana that goes to open up the Lois storyline.

"Smallville" creators and executive producers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar have announced they are not staying on for the eighth season of the show. They sent out the following open letter:
As the creators of "Smallville" we look back at 7 amazing years. We look back at 152 episodes. We look back knowing that the show will continue into Season 8 without us. After much heartache and debate we have decided it is time for us to move on.
Over the last 7 years we have had the honor of working with a remarkable team of people here in Los Angeles and in Vancouver. We have been blessed with a wonderful cast who we have watched mature with admiration and affection. We have been rewarded with a fan base that is as loyal as it is vocal.
We are incredibly proud of our work on this show. We achieved what we set out to do. We never compromised our vision. We leave knowing that "Smallville" is the longest-running comic book based series of all-time. The show was featured on the covers of Rolling Stone, MAD magazine, TV Guide and Entertainment Weekly. The pilot had the highest-rated premiere in the history of the WB. Even in its seventh year it is still the #1 scripted show on the network. "Smallville" is watched by millions of people in hundreds of countries and in dozens of languages around the world.
The show's success is a credit to a fantastically talented group of people. We wanted to take this chance to single some of them out. Our writers – your work speaks for itself. James, Jae, Rob, David – the backbone of our team in Vancouver. Joe Davola, Chris and Shelly – remember those Friday night brainstorming sessions? Len Goldstein and Steve Pearlman – thanks for believing we could do this. David Nutter – for giving the show your magic touch. John Litvack – when the knives were out, you always had our backs. Ken Horton – our Yoda. Peter Roth – Smallville's biggest fan. Melinda, Michael R., Paul M., Susan and Suzanne – for steering us through 152 episodes. Greg Beeman – your passion is an inspiration. Jordan, David, Garth, Carolyn, Bob & Lew – and everyone at the much-missed WB. Paul Levitz, Greg Noveck and the guys at DC Comics. Lisa Lewis – our very own soccer mom/mafia accountant. Michael Gendler – aka mega-counsel. David Lubliner – we can finally focus on features now. And last but in no way the least, Renee Kurtz – the smartest TV agent in town, we would be nowhere without you!
Finally, to the fans who have stuck with us through the highs and the lows: know this – we never stopped fighting to make this show great. Thanks for watching.

It still surprises me to this day that Smallville has lasted this long and will actually go to season 8! With the creators leaving though, it seems to me that next season will be the last.

Seeing as that they have worked w/a variety of editors and writers and directors over the years though, I'm not worried...The show seems to have outgrown their expectations, and is the original idea is getting a little long in the tooth...
Smallville has the potential to succeed where all the rest of the Superman shows have failed...I hope the transition works out well, cause I don't know what else is on TV that I could get gassed about...

Have you ever watched Galactica start to finish? It's really good man you oughta give it a shot. BSG, Lost, and Terminator are my three favs.....hmmm two outa three involve robots turning on their creators, wonder what that says about me.
I wouldn't worry about Smallville too much though. I think it needs new blood. They HAVE to get on with the Superman part of the show now. Enough of the build up already! Show him somehow get a job at the Planet and move to the big city and change the name of the show to Metropolis.

Lost is the main reason why i didn't bother with BSG & Smallville. Lost blows goat.

Never seen Lost or BSG, and like I said, I slept on Smallville too at first despite my fanboy status...I didn't see my first episode of Smallville on TV until the season finale of Season 5 I think...I say watch the first season Jig, and if you're not in marathon mode by episode 10, I stand corrected...But I think that you'll like the show...
