I'll probe you to see if you're a linux freak like all others (*) or a normal person... I've been wondering about how good gimp is. Can you give me a "brief" comparison between gimp and photoshop.
Now, this ain't a trick question. I know that photoshop is developed by an army of programmers, I'm not THAT stupid. I do know, tho, that the "average" user doesn't need exactly photoshop.... So can you give me a little bit of feature description please ? I'm tired of all the "open source kicks your ass" wars, to be honest.

I maintain Fireworks from macromedia is better than gimp or photoshop.

Fireworks is the bizzomb and easy to use!
