Man, my contact list is out of control...Shit, I am thinking about removing everyone, and then adding everyone back one at a time...There are dupe groups, dupe entries, and nothing I'm doing is fixing it...If I delete a dupe contact out of one group, it will remove it from both groups, etc...

Any plugins you guys use that fix this kinda thing..?

You can use Messenger Plus! I think there's a plugin there to help tidy up contacts.

You can just remove all your groups so that everybody is in one big list and then just make the groups all over again and put contacts where they belong.

But if all else fails then just back your list up. There's an option to save your contact list to file. And just delete and add everybody all over again.

I've been looking for a plus plugin, but can't seem to find one...I think I'll just delete everyone, shit, and slowly add peeps on, LoL...Either that, or get a hotmail addy...And just use the @MSN.com one in GAIM...

I've never been a fan of creating groups. Too much clutter for me. I just go with Online/Offline.

My work demands that I create groups, or else I'd be really fucking crazy...You can ignore people by groups, or appear offline to them, etc...Some cats, you never know their status, it says they are away, but they be chattin they ass off, LoL...So, I use the groups to avoid that...

I have a couple groups but I never have someone in more than one group. I dont' know of any plugin for you. Sorry Ja

I'll admit I'm guilty of that. lol I was always forgetting to change my status, so I'd have guys messaging me while I was in class, or at 5 AM when I was asleep. lol So I figured going to away all the time would cover that. lol

LOL yah i'm the same way... my msn is ALWAYS in away.....

this way ppl only msg me if it's important...

you can take my approach and just not use Instant Messaging at all!

It's either they IM me, or call...And I fucking HATE that phone...
