Ok... it's official. My college sucks bawls! I just finished picking my courses for September... That was a chore. The courses they offer are complete shit. You're supposed to select 10 electives... I picked 5, not counting the English course. My picks:

Modern History: 1914-1945
20th Century Canada
The Culture and History of Islam

Advanced Computer Skills for College

Mass Media in Canada

The English course I picked is titled Short Fiction: Modern to Contemporary.

I hope they have a better selection for next semester because I honestly can't pick another 5 courses from the selection I have now...

Hmm, I wonder what you'll be doing in That ACS course....Hahaha, I'd like to see the syllabus for that one...

Shit man, if My schedule looked like that I probably would be have all A's, LoL...That Short Fiction course should help us spart some ideas in The Iron Writer, too...

Those are the only good courses, though... that's why I'm hoping they'll add more to the selection for the second semester. The English selection was shit. They had the short fiction as well as Oprah's book club and children's literuate.

The computer course doesn't sound like it'll be that indepth... The course description says: "This course will explore the more advanced features in Word, PowerPoint, and some HTML. We will explore the costumization of Microsoft templates to optomize them for personal use. Students will develop a web page on the Internet where they will post their assignments. The course includes a brief introduction to Java scripting and will utilize shareware programs to enhance we pages. Students will also learn some aspects of Internet Security and how to protect their own privacy on the Net. Evaluation is based on projects, in-class work, and a test."

I'm hoping it won't be too indepth. I'm hoping for an easy semester. lol

THe best part is my earliest class is at 9 AM.

I remember college. What a complete waste of time and money. My degree is in Secondary Education with the emphases in Communication Arts. Why they make you take so many classes of crap that you don't need is beyond me. Being well rounded is ok, but why would I want my Architect to know about Mozart?

What I was saying was that Music holds no bearnig on buildings unless you are constructing a music hall. If you are building my house, I don't need a Music buff... I need an Architect.
