It seems that for filming the upcoming Ghost Rider, they needed a power plant.

We have several. So they paid us to shut down and remove one from the grid so they could film it.

We got paid pretty well. AND to show you how cool my company is, we donated the money.

We gave the money to a fund developed to build schools for the kids living at the ghettos built around the dumps in Tijuana. The one stipulation is that the schools teach English, which is a vital skill for working in the business world in Mexico.

and we didn't even consider that revenue part of our allocated charitable giving.

Sometimes, it feels really good to do business.

us corporate types get no such thing, but the guys bustin ass in this heat to make sure those light switches aint just for decoration,.. they get mad props from us spreadsheet jockeys who rub elbows with the long arm of the law. and two exclusive advance screenings in a theater, so all shifts can see it.

seriously, go drop a card in the mail to your local power plant saying thanks for enduring the heat and keeping the lights one.

Our guys have been cooking,.. but every soldier sees fire... *every* soldier sees fire.
