Boring . . . ?

If you think that classical music is boring and old fashioned etc. try a sample I've put in the music videos.

Also, if you fancy any particular style of classical music I may be able to help.

I have a reasonably extensive library, but I know that people who like classical music will probably already have their own collection, but I would like to help if I can.

I check the request section daily when I'm at home, but there are frequent 1-2 two week gaps when I'm Granddaughter watching, so bear with me if I take a little time to respond on occasions.

Let's build this sub-forum up to a decent size and make it worthwhile.

I love most orchestral and chamber music, Renaissance, Classical, Baroque, Modern. Most of my "collection" is on vinyl and I currently have no turntable, so I'm stuck. Thanks for filling this gap in our music section!!!

there r times when i'm in the mood for some classical music.

there r albums in the "misc" section that should be relocated here. maybe the mods could do that. ...hope those links still work. /:D" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt=":D" />

If you think all Classical Music is boring, I officially could give a damn what you think of music.

Requim in C Minor,.. listen for the ONE endemic note.

Thanks for your effort Jip, and thank you DD, for moving those threads...

I got turned onto classical music early, I am not an affictiondo I don't think (I can't go, "Ahh yes, that symphony on the old opera in 1845 was equisite..!") But I can appreciate its place in music...I have been wanting to hear Holst again since I was in the 7th or 8th grade, fancy my getting to hear it now on whim...

Yet another reason why this site is so great...

classical music? what other delights are to be found on this site?! i'll definitely be checking that section out next - used to in the choir at the cathedral and a trumpeter back when i was a nipper. my problem is i can remember many of the tunes but never took the time to learn their names. that may complicate matters. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I really started listening to Classical music in College when I was forced to take Music 101. I find a calming quality to the music and I've heard it helps childrens brain developement too. Never too late to start eh. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
