Israel Police question president

... on allegations of sexual harassment and corruption.

...also...

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is under investigation over his purchase of a property in Jerusalem.

Justice Minister Haim Ramon was indicted on Wednesday over claims he forcibly kissed a female soldier.

Last week, another senior member of Mr Olmert's Kadima Party, Tzachi Hanegbi, was indicted on charges of fraud, bribery and perjury.

The head of the Israeli armed forces, General Dan Halutz, has also been under pressure for selling his entire share portfolio hours before the outbreak of fighting in Lebanon.

waw. really decent politicians Israel has. if they lie to their own people, I would suppose they have even less problems lying to others, no?!

You think polotics has anything to do with the truth?

haha. no. not in this age. lol. it has to do with money and interests - and that is a damn shame.

like we have had seperation between church and state, there should urgently be one between state and corporations as well. it just is not right that a politician also is on the board of a company. it is mixing interests. the decisions he will support will be good for the industry he represents (and his pocket), not for the citizens he is supposed to represent.

do you just accept it then or do you think "damn fuckos" regarding news like this, ruff? i think the latter.

I look at everything out of the corner of my eye. You see Brain, I've seen what goes on behind closed doors. I've seen the things they show on movies and people say "That doesn't really happen." I've been there and done that. I know that 90% of what is reported is BS... but I listen to it for the same reason that I post 55 messages a day on here... it is entertainment.

so ruff. you mean these reports are false? and these guys are decent, honest citizens, serving their country and putting their own interests aside to do so?

No, I am sure they are shit bags like the rest of us. But, people with an agenda always scew the truth a little. And, even an inch can be a big difference with the truth.

Politics are politics. There is no one government anymore... everyone is mixed with everyone else.
