Can another hacker or people who have the right program, access to my pc, knowing some info from msn?

If you have that remote access thing enabled on MSN, sure...

Can't you get the info needed by simply sending someone a file, or having them send you a file? I thought someone told me that a while ago...

I don't t THINK it's that easy, but then again, you shouldn't be sharing files w/people you don't know...And for those that DON'T know, encryption rocks...

Uh, you can actually get apps that look like MSN and just log your passes to files..
So, even if you have Remote Access disabled (actually, you want Printer and File Sharing, that's the worst one), it might'nt help

M8, I'm going to say that the chances of this happening are very slim, very remote...I wouldn't start being paranoid now, you know..? I use GAIM, but would use MSN all the same...The best way to protect yourself is to simply be smart about the things you do online...

I haven't had a virus scanner or spyware scanner [on Windows] for years, and haven't been infected..
This is mainly due to the manner and precautions I take when browsing the web and downloading shit, so I think it's fair to say that it's just upto common sense..

I'm sure Yahoo, AIM, ICQ and the rest of them have their fair share of vulnerabilities, too... especially AIM... lol
