Well, if Liberals have their way, we won't be in Afghanistan much longer. The NDP, which holds almost 30 seats, is united in calling the a pull-out. According to some of the media reports I've been reading, this could quickly turn into Canada's Iraq.
I think we should stay, and I know the Conservative government will do what it can to stay.
Reading this article didn't really surprised me, though. It reminds me of Russia... Pakistan is playing both sides: they capture a couple terrorists and station a few guys along the border to please the U.S., and they turned a blind eye to the al-Qaeda and Taliban people using their country as a base of operations.
