Ok, this was a topic that I meant to post a long time ago...I was watching something on the Templar knights...I honestly do not remember the details of the questions I had, I just remembered the last part, where the Templar ships sailed off with something desirable (forgot what it was) and then just "disappeared"

Anybody know what's up with that?

I have seen many a special on the Templars, and believe much of the things they had that were considered 'desirable' were of holy significance...

What really happened to them and what were they carrying!?!?!?!

an intimate perspective... *shush*

The Poor Order of the Knights of the Temple (i.e. "The Templars") were men dedicating to giving free and safe passage of pilgrims to the Holy Land. In addition to this noble quest, they also acted as bodyguards for pilgrims, and they would safe guard their goods and monies while the pilgrims were fulfilling the fasting and poverty necessary to achieve the goal of the pilgrims who travelled to the holy land; that of true Redemption of the Soul.

They safeguarded this in a building many of them believed to be the Treasurehuose of images, where Solomon placed all manner of idol who would stand subservient to the God of Israel. See, "have no other gods before me" is better translated as "put me before all other Gods" and thus, the templars would safeguard people's goods on secret routes (where they in turn paid or ortherwise arranged for safe passage). Then, they would pass on 10% tithe to the church, in the honor of the King who had extended them divine providence. The rest would finance the pilgrims stay, and be used to afford his sacrfices, which were quite prominent at the time.

If a man was unable to lay claim to the treasure the Templars safeguarded for him, it was kept, and soon, they amassed a good deal of money. The weight of this burden is what they were killed for. It was in Jerusalem of antiquity, and well within the columns of the temple that the templars made their own temple, and sought to add their prayers to those of all the hopefuls. Their quest was a NOBLE ONE TO THEM and soon they discovered a text, not spoken of.

(but to be candid, the occasional raid in the cause of righteousness was employed, to the glory of god and the sustenance of his servants.)

This word is not "Grail", it is "Gra'al", and it is still not close enough,.. in the tongue of Gaul, it comes from "Seang Rial" (Royal Blood) this sounds different, because of "grav" sounds... it sounds like "Shan'Greel" soon, the whole world had epitomized this looking of the "Royal Blood" as looking for the cup that caught the blood of Jesus. The Templars looked for no such artifact. They sought the "Royal Blood" - i.e. The Blood of Redemption. So, it was found in a catacomb as old as the Human Race, if not older... the catacomb within man. This book instructed in the manner of achieving the Messhiac, which is what Iesu TRULY taught. "The Kingdom of God is within Man." This book is fundamental to their rituals and predates Christian doctrine.

First he had man build a tabernacle, a sacred place,.. mobile and laborious.
Next, he gave man a sacred place, and there upon was fixed a temple, without effort of man for his joy was great, and angels and demon labored in service.
Last, he made a temple of man, in which he dwelled... and thus man became a temple.

The true nature of Divine Providence was given to the Templars, and neither King of Man, nor Church of Man held the place they claimed.

So, they gathered to celebrate in this truth, and even committed ultimate heresies, and their redemption held fast. It became part of their instruction, which increasingly became stratified. the ultimate lesson of the Templars is "no man is the ruler of another, lest he be called to that service by that man."

This philosophy is easy for us to see,.. but to the men of that time, it was enough to cause a stroke, were it not gently introduced. There is more complicated, and much of technique, and even more of the manner of the rituals employed, but all of this I know is subject to intimacy with those who participate in the Mysteries. It is suffice to say that a Templar TRULY experiences the truth of Life, Death, and Ressurection in at least Three ways, including a physical semblance.

Anyways Philip the Bastard tried to join the Templars, in the case that the coffers of those who sought Christ and found death, would fill his royal greed. The Templars refused. and thus they were declared the enemies of the Crown, the Church, Good Man, and God.

The Templars lost many, but not all. In the Garter of the Maid is found the rose of the cross.

and thus man of their teachings passed on, as did the treasure they save for the people who sacrificed all, and yet were not chosen YET for Redemption.

and it was on their ships they sailed to the new land, and it is upon those coffers, entrusted to a certain nummber of people that the conspiracy to employ a land of Independent Providence was inevitably to be based. A portion of the treasure was likewise passed through the teasury of Saladin, where it yet remains to create the same, in the Middle East, WHEN mankind is ready for certain truths inherent to MAN.

Saladin's treasure was missing when he died, not even enough to pay for his funeral, for his legacy was transformed... and it is yet with the people of the EAST that such treasure is amassed, that fuels a glimmer of light that can not yet shine openly, lest it be snuffed out.

so, the treasure of the templars, the treasure of Saladin... all of these have their purpose... and it is the purpose that all pilgrims and servants seek to achieve.

"You have the Cross, I have the secret of the Cross," Jacque De Molay, Commander of the Templars, upon the burning at the stake that served his execution.(no body was herein found)

Saladin' (Sela he-d†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚®n Ay†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚»b†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡

‚®was a Kurd) who became Caliph of a Kingdom that conquered Jerusalem, who first had a truce with, and then "defeated" the Templars and earned their respect for his Wisdom. Though he was a Muslim, he was a Kurd, and thus tolerant of EVERY religion or lack thereof. This was part of how some of the Templars disappeared to foreign Lands. This is how they began to divorce themself of the Church and the Throne.

He was an enemy who became an ally, when he proved himself to not be a foe of them who seek God.

and he greatly impressed the Templars when he did not kill unarmed people, and began to allow them safe passage through his Caliphate. He further impressed them when he integrated his own coffers to theirs, in the mission to create the Kingdom with no King but God,.. which is what America was founded as.
