Robert Gallery (calf) will be out at least two-to-three weeks. Oakland's left tackle wasn't successful in halting San Diego's pass rush in Week 1 and replacement Chad Slaughter isn't likely to fare much better versus the Ravens this Sunday. It's terrible news for all Raiders skill players and a team that was embarrassed late Monday night.

Texans head coach Gary Kubiak plans to use all three of his backs in a three-man running-back-by-committee in Week 2. Kubiak raved about Samkon Gado in his first practice as a Texan Thursday but said "all of them will play" vs. the Colts Sunday and that the back with the hot hand will end up with the most carries. Wali Lundy, Ron Dayne, and Gado are all risky Week 2 fantasy plays.

NFL Network's Adam Shefter reports Deion Branch is likely to play for the Seahawks this weekend. He took a lot of snaps at practice Thursday. Don't use him in fantasy leagues yet, but this is bad news for Nate Burleson and Bobby Engram's value this week.

Steve Smith missed his second straight practice Thursday. He's listed as questionable, but Smith looks unlikely to play in Week 2. Look for Keary Colbert and Drew Carter to split snaps in his place if Smith is out.

The Chiefs have reportedly inquired about Titans QB Billy Volek. Scout.com reports the Chargers are "aggressively pursuing" a trade that would net them Billy Volek from the Titans.

The Chargers were thought to be on the verge of acquiring the lame-duck quarterback but Volek would likely much rather play for Kansas City, where he'd have a chance to start with Trent Green out. Volek would provide a better degree of stability than Damon Huard and Brodie Croyle. The report estimates a deal could be done within the next week to ten days. Volek seems like an even better fit in Kansas City, but he'd fill a need as the No. 2 quarterback in San Diego.

Packer WR Robinson Expecting To Play Sunday

GREEN BAY, WI --Koren Robinson plans to play Sunday for the Packers, and believes it will be the start of something big in Green Bay.

A talented wide receiver and kick returner who was cut by the Minnesota Vikings after a drunken-driving charge last month, Robinson signed with the Packers earlier this week. The team began working him into the offense and special teams in practice Wednesday and Thursday.

"I might get a couple of snaps, I might not," Robinson said Thursday. "I might just cheer my team on from the sideline. But like I said, I'm in the playbook, trying to learn it, so I can come out there next Sunday, this Sunday, and do what I can do."

Koren Robinson (questionable, knee) expects to play Sunday.

He's certainly not worth using in fantasy leagues even if he does. Rookie Greg Jennings will remain Green Bay's starter opposite Donald Driver.

Titans coach Jeff Fisher is now less optimistic Travis Henry, questionable with a toe injury, will be able to play in Week 2.

Henry has missed at least the team portions of practice all this week. LenDale White could see some short-yardage carries Sunday.

Steve Smith (questionable, hamstring) missed his third straight practice Friday.

He's unlikely to play in Week 2. Keary Colbert is likely to start again, but none of the Carolina wideouts are great options with a makeshift offensive line in Carolina.
