Al Qaeda threat over pope speech

Is anyone else completely baffled by Muslims? I mean, honestly, what the hell? Some cartoons are drawn characterizing Muslims as violent. How do they respond? With a shitload of violence!!!

The Pope quotes someone who said Mohammad spread Islam with the sword. How do Muslims respond? With more goddamn violence. Several churches in the West Bank and Gaza Strip have been burned, and if I'm not mistaken, several people have been shot as well.

that's what the pope was saying,.. if you bother to read his speech,.. "Hey, Muslims, we wanna talk with you and have dialogue, but the difficulty in doing so was even evident back in the 1400's when ANOTHER Pope said "You people are immature brats and bullies who are quick to the plate, quick to bat, but can't touch the ball without it being called foul."

pope: "um, HE said that, not me.. i was just saying that the image ..."

muslim reaction: "InfiDEL, I will shoot you nuns ands EAT THEIR BABIES"

pope: "um, nuns ideally DON't have babies, so can we come to dialogue of peace, and let this go..."

muslim reaction: BURN DOWN THE PIZZA HUT!!! BURN THE AMERICAN FLAG!

pope: "um, pizza hut is not ours (yet), and the US has only had on catholic president, and they shot him in Texas."

muslim reaction: BURN THE FLAG Of ISRAEL, BURN BURN BURN KILL KILL in the name of PEACE!

pope: "seriously, I am sorry you are offended, can WE PLEASE GET BACK TO DIALOGUE FOR PEACE???

muslim reaction: "we'll show you we're not all terrorists WHEN WE BOMB YOUR CHURCHES AND RULE THE WORLD!!!"

pope: "...We still have Churches in Gaza?"

I think the religion of peace needs to wipe the eyeliner off, quit listening to Good Charlotte, and get a summer job. There's a point where you can't act like a pissed off teenager anymore, if you want to be considered a real religion.

Why don't they quit mulling over the mask of being a religious organization, and just go ahead and start calling themselves what they are..? Man, I would LOVE to be able to talk to a Muslim and see how they rationalize this shit...I mean, honestly...

It's all out of context. The pope was saying we should find a way to get a better perspective of Islam, so we can talk peace.
