Happy Birthday Adam and Eve!

Today is the eve of the Night hailing the Briat Ha Adam, or Establishment of Man.

Note, the word Briat, is not the same as "creator." Traditionally, today the beast of man was created, and tomorrow (remember, the Jews count night before day) is the commemoration of the Yechidah, or the breathing of Life into Man, which is not what caused him to be animated, but rather, that which informed his own soul and spirit, in alignment with that essence of the Ancient of Days, that we call Elohim.

It is VERY traditional to celebrate your life this weekend, and as it is better understood in the context of Fall, which starts tomorrow, on the autumnal Equinox, this traditionally represents the time of Rest before the hard work of the harvest.

So, by all means, Christian, Jew, Muslim, Buddhist, Atheist, Scientologist, or other, enjoy your weekend and stay light of heart!

hmm, I answered this.

basically, Rosh Ha Shannah was this weekend, which is the heralding of the Autumn, which is the traditional Jewish New Year, and also the big kick off for Rammadan, besides others.

Yea, but with the differences between the calendars used back in the OT to the ones the Romans would use, how would we know for sure that this is when Adam and Eve were born?
