It's been a while since I posted, I've been having a few problems with an aging computer that I'm now taking steps to replace so I've been away for a while and I hardly recognised the place!!! Great job I must say though, I do like it, especially this dark skin.

I have a question for you that I wanted to run by you before doing something I wasn't supposed to.....

I run my own website that's really an on-line novel, all original content. My son is the author of the novel, not me I just did the website design and make sure it works etc. I did a bit more than that, like some mapping layout using a couple of really cool applications but, anyway....

What I want to do is to share this site with all the guys on AF, if they want to have a look that is and I wanted to know, is it okay to advertise my site via this forum.

I really don't want to break any rules, hence the question.

I have NEVER understood why people object to people wanting to promote their site...I believe one good turn deserves another, maybe by letting you promote your site here, you'll in turn give us a shining recommendation on the other sites you visit, or people you meet...

There is a category that is called Resources, which has a sub-forum called 'Portal'...Feel free to promote and notify us of any website which you'd like to advertise...Those forums are open to guests which mean they are routinely crawled by Google, and should aid in getting the site out there a bit...
